This is a very new park. The restrooms and laundry are the nicest and cleanest we've encountered in six years of full-timing. When completed this park will probably earn a 10 rating. The WiFi worked great and it was free. They have an exercise room, library, large pool and hot tub and are conveniently located near shopping and good places to eat. The park employees were all very pleasant and helpful. As mentioned in a prior post, the resort is close to train tracks and the trains can get loud: something most full-timers have to get used to. We are looking forward to a return visit.
I don’t understand some of the other comments as we almost avoided this campground based on all the negativity. I guess membership owners are a bit more picky than other RV’ers. Yes we needed to use a few boards to level our rig and paid $2 per night for the 50 amp service but everything worked fine and I even had free wifi service at our site. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here if passing through again but would not use this as a destination resort.
While definitely not an RV Resort this is an excellent campground as a home base for visiting the local attractions. Everything worked fine including the WiFi. The water should be run for a moment before hooking to your rig as it first had a bit of silt - a filter is advisable. The owners live on-site and work hard to maintain a clean and family oriented campground. We will be back again.
We were pleasantly surprised by this oasis in the middle of the high desert. The grounds are well maintained and it is obvious the owners take pride in their park. The sites were very large with plenty of grassy space between you and your neighbor. The free breakfast (every day except Sunday) was a nice touch and was quite good. Plus it gives you a chance to meet your fellow campers in a very friendly atmosphere. This campground provided an excellent base for exploring Craters of the Moon National Park (approximately 18 miles away). The WiFi worked well and there was no problem setting up a satellite dish. We would definitely stay here again.
This campground should accommodate most any size rig. It has a well designed layout with both easy back-ins and plenty of pull-through sites. The sites are gravel with a nice cement patio which in our case didn’t line up with the door of our fifth wheel (it was designed more for a motor home). The site was perfectly level side to side. Surprisingly noise was not an issue in spite of the in town location. There are excellent laundry facilities and the restrooms were spotless. There were plenty of cable channels and a strong wifi signal. We would gladly stay here again.
