I just came back from my first stay at Camelot in Lubbock, and I thought it was a really nice RV park. The pads are concrete and very level, with a large number of pull throughs. Utility and sewer connections were also easy to access and clean. There's a decent number of trees (at least by Lubbock standards), and a reasonable amount of space between pads. The staff in the office was very friendly and accommodating when I needed a little bit of a late checkout. The pool area seemed nice, though we didn't use it. It's quite a large park, with a lot of permanent residents, but most of the residents are toward the back of the park. The short term pads are near the front, and the front part of the park seems clean and well-kept. Some of the ones in the back were a bit junky looking, but as a short-term stay, you don't have to go back there. Overall, I enjoyed it, and I plan to stay here any time I come back to Lubbock.

If you're looking for a nice place to stay to use the L'Auberge casino, pool, etc., I thought this was pretty good. There are 15 level concrete pads with some grass and trees in between. I thought it was a reasonable amount of space between pads so it didn't feel too crowded. It has 50 amp power and water with nice, clean hookups, but there is no sewer hookup at the pad. There is, however, a dump station onsite. The weekend rate we paid was $50/night, but that includes use of the pool, which is actually much nicer than I had expected. It's about a 5 minute walk to the hotel/casino entrance, but if you call the valet stand they will send someone in a cart to take you if you don't want to walk. All employees I encountered were very friendly. Be aware there is free parking around the perimeter of the RV area, so you can dry camp if you want to. There are also several buses and 18-wheelers that park there, creating some extra noise. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely go again.

This park is about 5 or 6 miles off the interstate in a very secluded area. While it is pretty and peaceful, I would have liked it better if the pull-through site I had was either concrete or gravel. Instead, all the sites I saw were strictly grass. Since it had just rained hard before we arrived, the roads in the park were pretty messy, and by the time we left my RV was quite a mess both inside and out. My auto-leveler seemed to work okay, but I was a bit worried about it being on squishy wet grass. The staff I met was friendly. He checked us in when we arrived, and led us to our site. I probably wouldn't stay here again though, primarily because of the grass sites.

This RV park is nothing special to look at overall, but I thought it was very decent for an overnight stay. It is quite convenient from the interstate, and I had a pull-through site that had a level concrete pad and very clean and nice hookups. I arrived late, so I never met the staff in person, but they were very friendly and helpful over the phone. The restroom/shower facility was nothing fancy but seemed clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this park, especially for a short-term or overnight stay.
