All pull-through sites, very easy access. Cable TV, good space between sites. Easy check in, friendly man who gave us good tips for dining. Showers were not private, open with no curtains. We stayed one night en route to Savannah and would stay again.
Easiest back-in site and hookups we have encountered. Flat, white rock sites, very long with plenty of parking. Okay space between sites. Very pet friendly, with lots of open area to walk our dog. Very clean sites with fire pits and tables. Rest rooms and showers could have been cleaner. Grounds were pretty. Nice pool and nice views of lakes. A pretty good walk to pool, showers, laundry and garbage. Wi-Fi started working about half way through our stay, but was very weak and very slow. Close to town, very easy drive.
Nice people, clean rest rooms, pool, clean campground, easy access to and from. Gravel site a little unlevel, about 2 inches up and could have used more blocks. Good areas to walk our dog. Sites had fire rings, but ours couldn't be used due to close proximity of our neighbor. Wi-fi at our site was non-existent. Our site was plenty large for our 29 ft. trailer and truck. This is a nice park but not a resort and not a 10, but we would return.
The good: price; long pull through sites; easy access; friendly, helpful staff, pet friendly, and level sites. The bad: dogs running loose, and no tables at sites. The ugly: Nasty restrooms and showers. Because of the good, I would stay again.
Check in was fast, every employee was helpful and friendly. We were shown to our site, which was gravel, long, very wide and level. The restrooms and showers were spotless and very well maintained. Very good WiFi and the cable television had numerous channels. The hookups were appropriately placed. Lots of trees, squirrels and a very nice pool and dog exercise area. The park was decorated very nicely. Nice tables and a fire ring at each site. We didn’t notice the freeway noise while inside, but it was noticeable while outside. We would stay here again.
We stayed two nights as we were passing through. We were only going to stay one night but we had time and the park was so nice we stayed an extra night. Very helpful, friendly employees, easy maneuvering and very pretty grounds. This was a very peaceful park. We would stay again.
We stayed two nights to do a little sight-seeing. The check-in was very easy with a very friendly, helpful employee. We were lead to our site and assisted in parking. Our site didn't have a table but the escort brought one within minutes. Every employee was friendly. The site was gravel and flat with no grass. However there is alot of grassy areas along the fence to walk your dog. The sites were very long but close. The showers and restrooms were very clean. I would stay here again under similar circumstances.
We stayed one night and would stay again. Was easy to access from the freeway and easy maneuvering inside the park. There's lots of grass for dog walking. Spaces were level gravel with tables. Alot of freeway noise when outside, but we didn't notice it inside our RV.
We stayed 1 night. As others have stated, very dusty and very close spaces. Our 27’ TT and 20’ truck were in the road on both ends of the pull through space. Nice pool, very efficient staff and we were guided to our space and helped with parking. A lot of permanent RVs and most were shabby. The restrooms / showers were clean, but not private. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Exiting our space was close due to vehicles parked at the edge of the road. No grass and very little shade. If passing though we may stay again for a night.
We stayed one night and would stay again. There nothing negative about this park. Restrooms and showers are very clean and private. Tthere is a pool and hot tub. We were given a two for one coupon for dinner which was very good. There are nice large grass areas between sites. It is easy to maneuver. We would stay again.
We stayed 2 nights before going on to Yellowstone. The grounds were clean, all gravel. The pull through site was close, but plenty long for our 27’ TT and 20’ truck. The restrooms / showers were private and clean. he staff was very helpful and efficient. It was easy to maneuver our RV. The scenery is great. About 15 miles to Cody and about 30 miles to Yellowstone. Our rate for 4 people was $44.00 the first night and $37.00 the second, I don’t know why. We would stay again when in the area.
We stayed here one night. The space we were given was very close to our neighbors. No table and if there was, there would not have been anywhere to put it. The park has many permanent sites; most were well cared, some had clutter stacked outside. There was grass at each site. The restrooms and showers were clean, but not private. The grounds were clean. The lady in the office was pleasant but curt. No cable TV or Wi-Fi. There was an odor of sewer outside. We have stayed in much nicer state parks for less money. However for the location and the price, it will do for an overnight stop.
We stayed here five nights. The spaces are very close and we were not able to put out our awning due to a nearby tree. The park has some sites with a little grass, most were a combination of weeds and rocks. The rest rooms and showers were clean. The grounds were clean and with ample places to walk our dog. The lady in the office and gentleman who showed us our site were pleasant. There is an extra charge for pets and for cable television. I observed two RVs having a difficult time parking and leaving. One struck an electrical service box the other struck a tree. We have stayed in much nicer parks for less money with no extra charges for cable or our pet. I probably will not stay here again if I have another option.
The people we dealt with were very nice, both on the telephone and in the office. We were placed in at a site which was grass with no driveway, patio or table, with shared water. There wasn’t any shade. Due to the site we were debating as to whether we would stay. We went to the showers and restrooms. Two toilets were plugged and a plastic diaper was in one shower. We told a camp host about the toilets and he said, “I don’t do toilets.” So we left camp and went to a nearby park. We would not return.
We stayed two nights. The grounds were very clean; the showers and restrooms were spotless. The view of the lake was great. But the best thing about this park were the employees. We had trouble with our RV and the ranger was extremely helpful, suggesting places for the repair, checking on us and going out of his way to make sure we had as an enjoyable stay as possible. Not only would we return but would go out of our way to stay a night or two.
Beautiful area with lots of trees. Sites are lake front or lake view. Cement sites and paved roads. Fire ring and table at each site. The sites were clean. There is a playground for young children and other sport activities. The roads in the campsite area are narrow with some sharp turns. A large rig might find it difficult. The restrooms are old and needed to be cleaned while we were there. It was a good stop for us and we will return. Rangers were very helpful.
We have been here two weeks and are about to leave, wish we could stay longer. We will be back as soon as we can. Employees are friendly and helpful and accommodating. The sites are easy access and wide with concrete pads. The restrooms and showers were clean every time we used them. The laundry room was clean. Nice grass areas and a lot of shade trees. Nearby propane, stores and restaurants. Large pretty pool. There isn't a lot to do for children, but we don't have children so that's okay. I would highly recommend this campground.
We have been here two nights. This is an excellent park. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We were shown our space and were helped with the backing. We were offered help to set up. The restrooms and showers are private and spotless. Pretty pool and hot tub, small playground for young children. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Approximately 7 miles to the gulf. Sites are large, concrete with easy access to water, power and sewer. Wi-Fi comes with the price and works well. The grounds are very clean, with a nice pet walk and clean up bags provided. There is also a fish cleaning area at the exit from the park. I will stay here again.
We have camped here before, during the spring. The campground was not crowded and was clean. This time it was very busy and crowded. The restrooms were dirty with paper and water on the floor each time we used them. The showers were not clean. We stayed five nights and I never saw the restrooms clean. The employees were friendly and helpful as before. I will camp here again, but not during the summer.
This is a nice campground, on the river. Very pretty area. The grounds were clean. The sites were gravel and fairly level. There are also sites away from the river, but the water could be heard throughout the park. Friendly, helpful people who took us on a golf cart to pick out our site. The showers and restrooms were clean each time we used them. TV cable was good and included in the rate. Easy access to the campground. Cell phone service is difficult at best. There is a small store nearby, the campground is about 3 miles to Cherokee. This is a campground, with fishing in the river, a pretty area, but not much else. We will stay here again because it is what we like.
We stayed one night. Very friendly, helpful people. Very pretty and clean park with two creeks running through the park. Showers and restrooms were spotless. Sites were level gravel, wide and plenty of room. Easy in and out of the park. Very pretty area. Will stay here again.
This was the first time using our trailer. It was a very good experience for us. Large, easy pull through site and very clean park. Every employee we encountered was very helpful and nice. We will return.
