Nice campground, located on the bay side and close to the actual beach on the ocean. I would rate it a 6.7 or so but I don't think it was good enough to round up so 6.0 it is. The campground is clean and for the most part well kept. I think it is a stretch to say it is big rig friendly but it is accessible. When we went the trees on the exit side needed a good trim and we had to have 3 people move their vehicles on the way out because we simply couldn't fit between them and the bushes / trees on our exit. They also need to better mark where to turn and where to go on exit as its very nice to have signs when you leave your site but after that all you see is one "DO NOT EXIT THIS WAY" sign and the rest is up to you which can lead to frustration moving around the pretty tight areas. No lie its pretty tight, especially as you move closer towards the water. The beach was pretty nice if a bit small. Much better options on ocean side so I'd recommend going there for the beach / swimming but it's nice for what it is. The sites are a mix of very spacious with patios to tight with trees and brush. Lots of seasonal units. Personally I find the ocean sites a rip off but to each his own. There are only around 3 or 4 of them so if you aren't on the water directly expect people to fill in the sites ahead of you. We stayed in the executive area which were nice pull throughs near the road side of the park. If you don't like occasional noise this area might not be for you as the air force base does run maneuvers nightly and daily. This didn't bother us one bit but it could annoy others. Things usually stop around 11pm CST. Not a big deal for us but should be mentioned. There are some really nice beaches near the campground. Lots of space to spread out there and it is very easy to find a quiet spot for yourself. The surrounding area does have some shopping and eateries and you are 20 minutes from Pensacola should that area be of interest to you. Overall a good campground with friendly staff. It's just tight; many of the sites are fair and they really need to keep the brush trimmed on the exit. We would stay again but would make sure we got one of the better sites. There are better options but overall still a nice place to stay.
Simply a great park. Other park owners need to come here and see how things are supposed to look and be done. We stayed here for a week starting May 6th and are now back for a month or two because we love the park. Excellent sites, not a bad one in the entire park. Nice large pads, lots of grass and even some nice trees in certain spots for shade. Sky is mostly open for easy satellite access and they offer free WiFi which works wonderfully. Everything is clean, well maintained and EVERYONE here is very friendly. This is by far the nicest park in the area for the price. Well worth the money and very reasonable in our opinions. We highly recommend if you are staying anywhere near the area to come here and check them out. You will not be sorry.
Superb campground. Staff is incredibly friendly, sites and CG are very well maintained. Laundry room is excellent, pool area w/ hot tub also excellent. One row of spaces does back up to a side street but there is very little traffic if that is a concern ask for a different site, there are plenty of great ones. Overall this is an excellent CG. Great Wifi reception, cable available if you need it and good view of the sky on all spaces for Satellite coverage should you want that. Right in the middle of town, very close to Disney parks, great shopping, food and more. Highly recommended.
Excellent campground right on the edge of Quebec City. Very close to everything, 15 minutes from the mall and 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City. Easy access in and out of the camp ground, plenty of big sites for large rigs. Satellite access can be troublesome depending on where you go but plenty of sites with clear view of the sky. Staff was very friendly, speaks english and french and the grounds were kept very clean. Overall excellent experience and considering the location very reasonable rates.
Decent park. If you are going to Lion Country and staying in the area this is a great place to stay. You get a nice discount into the park $6 each as opposed to 20+ and the park itself is acceptable. There is a pool, place to walk the dog for their business but not much else. I wouldn't say its not kid friendly there just isn't a whole lot for them to do. It is located just outside a nice area with plenty of shopping but the park is still far enough away to be away from it all. I wouldn't' stay here for a month or anything but you can keep yourself occupied for a week or two. I found the rates to be reasonable for the area and the park itself is adequate and comfortable. Staff was friendly as well. Sites were mostly pull through, full hookups and the place was kept clean. Not the best but certainly acceptable.
Excellent KOA with tons of things for the kids to do. Pet friendly with a nice doggie bark park. Large sites, no issues getting around although we got stuck in the back end of the park which made satellite reception nearly impossible although some did manage with long cat6 runs. If you can request a spot towards the entrance as the sites seem a little nicer. Large pool, trampoline like contraption, WIFI didn't work for us but had excellent cell phone coverage so wasn't a big issue. Campground is located next to everything! Very convenient getting around and that a lone makes the price worth it. Overall very nice CG, enjoy your stay :)
