This is a great place to stay in Napa. It is walking distance to town and a short drive to St. Helena and Yountville. The pads are very large and nicely spaced apart. There is no cable TV but we were able to get several channels over the air. We tried to watch a show on our Dish Online but this park limits bandwidth. If you plan to use their Wi-Fi for streaming movies or shows it will shut you down. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back.
The only positive for this park is the location. And that has been seriously diminished by the fact that the ocean front sites are now closed and a chain link fence has been put up between the inland sites and the ocean. The inland sites are so narrow that you are unable to put your awning out or sit next to you rig. If the people next to us had a slide-out we would not have been able to get out of our door. There is no greenery at all. There are a lot of old rigs and many full-timers that partied loudly the last night we were there. We left early and just checked into the Candlestick RV Park in SF.
This park is just good enough. We had a deluxe pull through that was surrounded by pink rock. This park would be much nicer if they would replace the rock with grass, even if it was fake grass. The bathroom/shower rooms are good, but there is very little ventilation in them, and it was impossible to shave or blow dry hair in them after a shower. There is quite a bit of noise from the airplanes flying in. The workout room is one of the worst we have seen. The pool area is nice. The employees were very nice. We probably will not be back.
This is a beautiful park. Everything is clean and updated. The bathrooms/showers were some of the best we have seen at any RV resort. The pool is great. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly. We will definitely be back.
This park is probably O.K. for an overnight if you never set foot in the bathroom/showers. They are ancient and filthy. In the women's restroom there was dried human waste on the floor and mascara wiped all over the wall by the sink. My husband said the men was no picnic either. We will not stay here again.
The view here is incredible. The sound of the surf is incredible. Everyone we dealt with in the office was very friendly and helpful. This park would be a 10 if the sites were more level and they were not so crammed together. We were in the ocean view electric/water sites and they were tight for our truck camper. There is no need for this park to cram as many sites as they do in a given area. Even so, we will be back for the sound of waves all night and the view.
This park could be a 10 and hopefully will be when they complete their renovations. The location is excellent, right on the bay. The spaces are large, fairly level and nicely spaced apart. The cable TV comes in well, but there are very few channels. No Wi-Fi, but they say that is coming. Walking/biking distance to several restaurants and Spud Point Marina. The restrooms/showers are dirty and VERY dilapidated. The white shower curtain was black with mold. Hopefully they are on the fast track for renovation because they are totally unacceptable.
We camped here for a week and thought it was a very nice resort. The pool is on par with a hotel pool and beach towels were provided. The sites are very large and are surrounded by grass. The workout room was very well equipped. The best feature of this resort is that they do not allow children (for the most part). Therefore, it is very peaceful, especially at the pool. As other reviewers have said, there is road noise and a train that goes by frequently. I thought both would bother me, but neither did.
This is a beautiful park. If you are going to be here for any length of time, spring for the view site. A gorgeous bluff overlooking the bay and the ocean in the distance. Run by the nicest couple we have met while RV'ing. Shower rooms are nice, but need an outlet for those of us who blow dry our hair. Very quiet. TV and Wi-Fi work great. Superb park.
This RV park will probably be great when it is finished. We arrived late in our truck camper and we were not told that the restrooms and showers were not built yet. We had to take off the next day without a shower. Also, our water hookup was broken and could not be used. The golf course is nice and the couple who run the park are very friendly and helpful. They just need to tell people in campers that there are no showers yet!
This is a very nice RV park. The restroom/showers were very nice. The laundry room is state of the art. It is very quiet and within walking distance to Costco and Target. The only negative is the "fitness room" is terrible. Very old machines placed in a TV room. We found it to be unusable.
We thought everything was great at this park. Very quiet and peaceful. We were in a back-in space and it was spacious and well maintained. Free Wi-Fi that worked great. It's a big perk to be right on the bus route to Yosemite. The only semi-complaint would be that the cable TV channels were small in number and several were very fuzzy.
