Great venue for activities such as beach, kayaking, hiking. No activities, no pool. Full hook ups, watch the elecricity surges. A little out of town, but not as crowded as the in town parks. When we return, this is the park we'll come to. Very good staff and security.
Nice staff, good sized spots. Very close to the amazing Red Rock canyons for hiking/climbing/biking. Heads up, there is no internet coverage, but some cell. Basic camping with toilets and a water tap every 4-5 sites. We've used it many times and will return in the future.
This used to be one of our favorite parks, but it's in need of a facelift. The pool was dirty and pool chairs in disrepair. The place could do with a good clean up. The upside is the staff are very friendly, love the security guys! Great area for lots to do, golf, hike, Palm Springs but it's a shame to hear complaints from fellow Rvers. Please take care of this once great park.
We were disappointed to see the pool closed, due to construction since August. There's no activities offered except card games. Close to Laughlin and the casinos but not much to do here. It could do with an upgrade.
Very friendly staff and a "homely" feel to the campground. Lots of activities offered. But the hot tub is still broken and we were here last year! No pickle ball or exercise room, which we require. It's a noisy site with highway 8 and the trains close by. Pretty good WiFi ($2 coupons). Close to Yuma and Mexico border. Okay for a couple of night's stopover.
This is one of our favorite parks. Very friendly staff, lots of activities with free breakfast! Great free WiFi and lots of TV with antenna use. We love the work out room and overall atmosphere of this park.
Super friendly staff in a very friendly atmosphere. Good sized pull through and full hook up. Cable TV is excellent, so is the Internet but a little expensive at $5.95 a day. Lots of things to do in the area...Bisbee, Tombstone.
Good pull through site with a full hook up. Very good wifi and cable TV included in the price. A small work out room that could do with an upgrade. Close to Austin for tourists. Extremely friendly staff.
Very friendly lady at the gate, smiling and helpful. Nice large back in site with great views of the gulf. Cheapest laundry of all the parks we've stayed at $1:00! Make sure you have ant spray. Go to the Five Rivers Delta Safaris Resource Center across the road and even better if you have your own boat/kayak.
Good back-in site. Make sure when you go on line to book that your rig can fit, some sites are very small. Great beach nearby with sunsets to die for. We enjoyed the kayaking and hiking. Very limited phone coverage.
Friendly staff, but it's a run down campsite that still needs a lot of attention. Previous reviewers say it's vastly improved. I know the internet and cable are great but the overall look needs work. The entrance is a dangerous U turn off 98 and signs on the front need replacing. The beach front is small but attractive and there is a dock that makes a nice evening view of the gulf. A stopover night, and that's all.
Large back in site with electricity and water. Great location on the gulf with beautiful, empty beaches nearby. Bugs were a pest. Nice open areas, friendly staff, TV antenna was good, no Wi-Fi. Recommend it.
Very friendly staff, helpful and courteous. Tight back in site, but quiet. Full hook up with good free Wi-Fi and lots of cable stations. Great island with cheap tennis at club and great for biking/running.
Friendly staff, enjoyed the card poker night. No Wi-Fi in the park, only at the office. Very tight driving roads, back in site with full service, but no cable TV. Was not that impressed as this is supposed to be an RPI preferred site.
Very friendly lady at the front desk, couldn't have been more helpful. Back in site, bare ground, could do with some greenscaping. Very poor antenna TV, you have to buy cable for a month lease at the least. Wi-Fi fee, not bad signal. A good stay over for a day or two.
Very friendly staff, helpful. Tight back ins, but full service, including good free cable. Wi-Fi is cheap, $3 for 2 users for 24 hours. We played tennis and swam in a nice pool. We here before the large group of snowbirds are coming through, so we had lots of space. We kayaked with Manatees nearby, so bring your boats/kayaks, lots of water around. We will return.
Large back in sites with lots of room between other campers. No Wi-Fi, no cable, poor facilities. Seems like we were at the end of the season as facilities were closed or run down. An okay for one night stop.
Very friendly staff, great facilities, good pull-through sites. Internet pretty good. Very good activities program, love the fitness room. Very well manicured areas, nice feel to be in. Could do with picnic tables at the site. Will return.
