Gravel sites, very crowded, very busy, no TV(0) channels, Wi-Fi at office only. Two bathhouses, one old and really bad, one good but a far walk. Some hookups require a 50 foot hose, electric the same way. An international flavor at this park, people from everywhere.
Overhead flights from nearby air base ruin the camping experience. This was a busy park with lots of kids, and crowded sites cement sites very close together. Cable TV almost works sometimes, but WiFi was good. State park across the road provided beautiful scenery.
Pleasant scenic place to relax. Cement or dirt sites, decent Wi-Fi. Great hiking trail through some other resorts. Just a great place to camp for a night or week. Plenty of sight seeing in town and many activities available.
Sites are very small. A few sites might be big enough for something larger than our 21 foot rig, but not many. Sites were paved and shaded. The campgrounds are beautiful and I would go back again. Bathrooms were adequate and relatively clean.
Beautiful but very old with minimal repairs being done. Grass sites which are very muddy in the rain although probably good in dry weather. Hookups are awful, need extensions for everything if it will work at all. No Wi-Fi, bathrooms are old and not maintained. This place is a disaster.
Hookups were sometimes difficult and seemed placed wrong, a long ways from the RV. No shade and all sites were exposed to the winds coming off the lake. Lake scenery was interesting with big boats headed for the locks.
Beautiful sites on a lake. Some sites shaded, some with cement pads, some gravel. All with cement pads under tables. Bathhouses were generally clean but little place to hang clothes. Overall a good place to go back to.
Prices were a moving target and changed 3 times while we checked in. Showers were bad with low water pressure and water that smelled like Sulphur. We were promised that Wi-Fi was usually available however it was only available in the main office during the 3 days we were there. Showers/bathhouses were not cleaned on the weekend and were pretty bad by Monday. Hardly felt comfortable using them.
Sites in the trees were either muddy or dusty depending on weather it rained or not. Grass sites were great. Showers were peeling and in bad shape. Generally clean but hated to use them. Great campground for dog walking.
Bathhouse was older but clean. Sites were nice with gravel and concrete under the tables. Spacing was good with room between sites. Limited room for dog walking. But the campground was clean and well maintained. Most sites were shaded.
In the past 6 months we have stayed in roughly 25 RV parks. This was the worst. During the check in procedure one of the first signatures they require states that you waive any rights to privacy, meaning they can use your picture or any other info about you for advertising or any other purpose they desire. Secondly, while they claim they have Wi-Fi no one around us was ever able to get on. Thirdly, they fail to mention that there are additional charges to use the showers-pay showers. Fourth, campsites are dirty, mostly sand with a smattering of gravel and cigarette buttes. Fifth, off leash dogs wander the area at will-disturbing your leashed animals. Sixth and last the cable TV which we paid extra for worked hardly at all.
Very nice county park. Seems new with excellent hookups, cement pads good spacing. The whole park seemed very clean with great walking trails, and a pretty lake for scenery. Great place for walking your dog. However this was new enough to have very little shade.
Sites are fantastic, staff is great. If you are totally self contained and like close neighbors this place is wonderful. But there are really no restrooms or showers available unless you use the ones in your RV. Sites are paved and shaded but they are on top of each other. Big slide outs are almost a problem since the sites are so close.
