We stayed here just to get away from the house for a weekend and wanted to stay fairly close to home. We opted for a pull through which they have situated in the center of the park. The pull through sites are so narrow that some RVs would not be able to open their slide outs. Our sewer hookup was within 2 feet of our neighbors picnic table. The fire rings are all but useless due to the way they have them situated. They placed them at the very end of the small grass portion of the site and to use the ring you would be sitting either in your stone drive or on the lane. The pool was very nice and the campground was clean. Has a nice playground and a very friendly staff. The cable tv was excellent as well. We would stay again, but likely only as a stopover. I would also try for one of the back-in slots as they allow a lot more room.
We have stayed here twice in the past 2 years and have not been let down yet. The staff is very friendly and even loaned us a longer hose to reach our water hookup. I would suggest having longer than 25 feet of hose as some of the water hookups are a good 35 feet from the site. They have very nice restrooms and wonderful showers though I did not use them much. The indoor pool and hot tub are excellent and they also have a conference center that can be rented out. Across the street is a Canoe livery and go karts as well as putt putt. Very nice campground, and we will be back again next year!
This park is over run with seasonal campers many of which allowed their units to become very run down. Golf carts everywhere and it was a rather loud campground. They advertise having a swimming pool, which turns out to be a swimming lake. The lake was ok for swimming and did have nice homemade slides. They did have 2 playgrounds which were decent and they had a live band which was entertaining on both nights. I would not stay here again.
This campground is in a very quiet area with some scenic driving in both directions from the campground. All of the sites other than the seasonals are on grass but are fairly large. There is a small play area for children as well as a decent pool and putt-putt course. They have an on-site canoe livery which we used and enjoyed. There are a lot of seasonals but still plenty of room for weekenders and overnighters. The water is well water but I didn't think it was any worse than any other campground with well water. The restrooms were in need of a good cleaning and needed updated.
