Being near the small area of Oak Glen was the plus, (its across the street from Apple Annies). The spots don't have a lot of shade and are terraced so you look down into your neighbor's area. It was okay for a short stay. I would definitely go back. It was easy to park with a small MH or small trailer, larger rigs would be difficult.
Nice park. Still allows long time stays for some visitors. On the Parker strip, nice to have a small store and snackbar on premises. River is busy with party people but if you go down to Blue Water area you can just sit and enjoy.
We always came to Rivernook, but the last year the park has gone straight down hill. Dirty restrooms, trash, loud music, heavy alcohol use. Even the park employees don't pay attention to the rules. If I want dirt, trash, loud drunk people I can stay at any of the public parks. I have stayed here several times this year, each time thinking it would be better next time, instead it got worse. I believe they have a new management and park personnel so they just don't care anymore. I would not recommend this park
