The roads are dirt and turns are tight to get into the pull throughs. Sites are extremely narrow and un-level. Restrooms and laundry room were very clean. Staff was very friendly as well. Temps in the 80's yet the pool was closed. We did enjoy the walking path around the ponds and did a little fishing, too. We will not camp here again due to the narrow, -, muddy sites.
We stayed here just to try it as we usually stay at the KOA in Kissimee. The park is very pretty as it is on a big lake. The pull through sites are hard to get in and out of. The higher priced premium sites are located next to the store and the pool, no views, no yard, better sites with the standard pull through rate. The dog park is the best one we have ever used. The pool is supposed to be open until dark, but ourselves and two other families were asked to leave on two consecutive nights around 6pm because they wanted to clean the pool before dark. Our kids were very disappointed. Park is very quiet.
Thank goodness there is a lot to do in St. Augustine, because this KOA was cramped, not level sites and noisey. The sites are very narrow and short too, not much room for your vehicle. The campground is behind a shopping center, there is a bar in the shopping center and we could hear their music until 2AM each night. Wi-Fi only worked in the mornings and it was pretty weak even then. The staff was friendly and the grounds were clean, but this KOA is very overpriced for what you get.
We stay at this no frills park everytime we travel on I-95. Twice this month as we traveled between TN and FL. The sites are very big and easy to pull through. Tons of cable TV channels and the Wi-Fi works great. We will stay here many times in the years to come.
We stayed here for one night on our way to TN. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites are all gravel, which is better than mud, but not as nice as concrete. We had a site near the pool and playground which was great for our kids. The playground sand has what looks like glitter in it. The inside of our rig looked like a glitter explosion after the kids came in. Thank goodness we have a vaccuum. WiFi and cable TV worked well. We will stay here again.
We stayed here for 5 days and just loved it! The river front sites are the best. My rate was for 4 adults and two vehicles. The restrooms were cool and clean. The trolley stops in the campground (super convenient). The sites are pretty close together, but with the river in your back yard it wasn't a problem. Make sure you have plenty of blocks/jacks if you take a river front site. I would have given it a 10 but the WiFi was unavailable most of the time. We will definitely stay here again next year.
