Stayed a week to fly fish and to visit family. Most available sites for RVs have been sold off and was treated as an outsider. No trespassing signs posted all over campground by the private lot owners. If you bring your grand kids be prepared to have photo ID, birth certificates, foot, and palm prints of them otherwise you will have to do a lot of explaining to local authorities who they are after they play on the campground playground.
Great place to stay for all that Lubbock has to offer. Medical, Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian University, shopping, and all sorts of great places to eat. Located on the west side of town has fairly easy access to from Loop 289. Stayed many times and all is great.
Awesome desert oasis! Great place to re-certify an open water dive in this 20,000,000 gallon per day natural spring. It is in a desert, and there not a lot of other things to do but admire the quiet serene landscape.
