This appears to be a very new campground. Very clean & well maintained. Since it's so new, the trees are young & small, but our site was almost level. The roads are asphalt as are the sites. We were escorted to our site (which has been an uncommon thing while traveling the N.E. this year.) They have a lovely swimming pool & a covered area with tables & grills, as well as a nice fire pit surrounded by the double swings. We would definitely consider staying here again if ever in the area.
This is an excellent park - a bit more expensive than what we normally pay. But, it had all paved roads, our site was pretty darn level and we had all the necessary hookups. It's very clean and well maintained with lots of conveniently placed trash/recycle receptacles (something we find quite rare in most parks). They have a cafe located right inside the park with good food. Lots of amenities that would especially be attractive to families with children. Each day they offer a "class" to tell you about all the tours available that leave directly from the park and even have the tickets available. We took a 2 day tour into Washington DC and really enjoyed it. We would definitely stay here again if ever in this area.
This park is clean, well kept and attractive. The people we dealt with were helpful and accommodating, but not overly friendly in the process. The things we did not like were that the sites were a bit too close together, the washing machines were very expensive, and the Wi-Fi (although free) really wasn't good most of the time. We might consider staying here again if in the area. It did have close proximity to Philadelphia.
We traveled in 2013 for 7 months, so stayed at a good number of RV campgrounds. We have been traveling in 2014 for 7 weeks & have been staying for a shorter amounts of time, so have been in a lot of them already this year. I have rated every campground we've stayed in and don't remember ever giving a 10 rating before. This campground is laid out very well, is clean and very well maintained. They have 2 laundromats, very good Wi-Fi and full hookups - with 50 amp. (Something we found as a bit of a rarity in the Northeast so far.) The staff was friendly and helpful, the park was quiet in a beautiful setting. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
This is a very clean, pretty camp & would be perfect & worthy of a 10 rating if they had wifi, sewer hookups & a laundry. It took us several days & finally moving our motor home forward in our space to be able to get reception on our TV satellite. (I don't think many sites here are located in such a way as to get satellite, because of the trees.) There is a laundromat pretty close & they do have a sewer dump. Not a lot of equipment for children to play on so it was mostly adults - nice and quiet. We would stay here again if for a very short time. (It is owned/managed by the county.) So the price paid for a space is a bit high for what you get.
This park leaves a lot to be desired. The lady in the office was helpful & pleasant & they have a lot of amenities. But our site was horribly unlevel. We only had water & electricity (30 amps) with no sewer - so very expensive for what you got. No cable, couldn't get our satellite to work. It had been raining & was pretty muddy too. We probably wouldn't stay here again unless it was for only 1 night & we were certain to get a more level site.
A nice park with a lot of permanent residents. But it kept up very well. When we first arrived we only had water & electricity. At this site we had excellent phone & wifi. We moved to a new site the next day that we loved because we had full hookups. But, our phone service was sketchy & we had no wifi at all. So, we'd go down by the office to use our computers. When we had service it was excellent. I've seen much better laundrys but got it done. We would stay here again if ever in the area again.
This is an attractive park. We couldn't get TV on our satellite because of the trees around us, but it appeared other people could. We also had no sewer hook-up at our site, but they do have a dump station & some sites to have hook-up for it. They have a lot of amenities here. If ever in this area again we would consider staying here.
It was very muddy after they'd had a rain the day before we arrived. The water & electric hook-ups were close to the front of the site & the sewer hook-up was way far back. You'll need some long connections to make it all work. The wifi is slow. The reservations were easy to make on their website but when we arrived the site we were sent to wasn't the one assigned. We asked for a pull-thru if available in a more open area so we could use our DirecTV on the roof of our motor home. We got a back-in site under trees. A lot of permanent residents reside here in this park. I guess that can be good or bad. We will not stay here again.
The lady in the office was very nice. The sites are really long & you have a nice space between the sites. Each site has a little yard, a table & a fire pit. There is a catch & release lake on the property, as well as a swimming pond/lake & two playgrounds. We probably would've rated this a 10 if it had a laundromat & if the sites had been level & hard-packed. But our site was very unlevel & the gravel/asphalt was soft, so we had problems with our jack pads & getting leveled off. We did not use the restrooms/showers, but it is a new large building, so I'm sure they're good. They are supposed to be getting a laundromat too. Their wifi was very good. We would consider staying here again if they get the sites leveled & firmed up.
A lovely park-like location. Lots of trees and birds. It was quiet too. They do have wi-fi, but only in the building where the office is. It's excellent connection there. The biggest negative for us was the site wasn't very level. But we like this place and would definitely stay there again.
This is the worst RV park we've ever stayed in. The only reason we gave it a 2 was because the personnel were friendly and helpful - and it was convenient to downtown and the Gateway Arch. If you don't mind staying in nothing more than a parking lot that happens to have connections for your RV this is okay. No trees, no tables, no fire rings - no extras at all at the sites. A lot of nothing for $40 a night. You can have your pet with you but they want you to walk it outside the park - into an industrial, not so good neighborhood. Give me a break! We would never stay here again.
This was a nice park - clean and quiet. We had a paved pad so it was almost level, with a place to park our pickup. We had a couple of trees that were nice for shade but didn't prevent our being able to use our DirecTV. The laundry was very nice and clean with a TV and ceiling fan - was a bit expensive though. They have a restaurant on site that had some good food. The park is a bit out of town but easy to go in. The biggest negative is they only had 1 dumpster for trash, and it's only picked up on Mondays. Both Mondays we were in the park it was full and overflowing. We'd stay here again.
This is a well-maintained park with paved roads. The speed bumps are a pain though. The sites were plenty long enough for our 36' RV & tow vehicle. The sites are gravel & fairly level. There is a patio type slab, a small patch of grass & a nice picnic table at each site. The fitness area was so-so. The equipment wasn't the greatest, but better than nothing. The laundry facilities were good. They have a small playground for families with children & a nice fenced in Bark Park for the dogs. We have both a Mac & a PC. The Mac wouldn't work with their Wi-Fi at all. The PC worked fine after we were given the correct information. The primary office person that we worked with was not the most helpful person & was argumentative. The other 2 people in the office & other staff we interacted with were all very nice & helpful. (Be informed that if you stay a month or longer you will not have free cable - we were told we'd have to contact the cable company for service.) If we are in this area again we will definitely consider staying here provided it's not long term. If not for the person in the office & the Wi-Fi problems we would've rated them a 10.
This is a very nice & well-maintained park with a helpful, pleasant office personnel. The roads are paved & the sites are level slabs. We had a small yard, nice fire pit/grill, and picnic table. We only stayed 2 nights so didn't use any of their other amenities. Had some problems with the Wi-Fi. There were some families near us with younger children, so did have some noise from that, and this is the off-season. We would consider staying here again if for a longer period of time & rates were reduced a lot for that longer term stay. (The $55 was with our Good Sam discount.)
We were here during the off-season so there were a lot of open spaces & very quiet. It's a very large park & the site spaces are larger than any we've seen anywhere we've stayed. The office staff was pleasant. Since we only stayed here for 2 nights, we didn't use any of their offered amenities. Very easy access to Bryce Canyon from the park. It was a nice place & we'd stay here again. Would've rated it a 10 if hadn't had issues with the Wi-Fi.
The park is a nice park - seems to have a lot of permanent people there, but wasn't an issue. It is next to the interstate, but is separated by a very tall barrier, so the noise didn't bother us at all. We only stayed here for 1 night and didn't utilize any of their extra amenities. The office staff was very pleasant. The site was easy to get into & plenty long for our 36' RV & tow vehicle. We would consider staying here again if in the area.
This is a nice park that is maintained very well by the owners. They are very welcoming, accommodating, lovely people. There were some issues with the Wi-Fi while we were there, but they worked hard to get it corrected. There is very limited cell phone service. We enjoyed our time here & would definitely return. (The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because of no phone service & issues with the Wi-Fi.)
We had planned to stay here at least a week but left after 4 days. It rained every day and there were large puddles of water to negotiate wherever you went - difficult to put trash into dumpsters because of water. So shaded you can't use your satellite and there is no cable, no Wi-Fi, no phone service. We selected this park because of the full hookups and close proximity to Yellowstone. We wouldn't stay here again. (They did send us a survey that we answered honestly - they replied with apologies and their reasons for the mentioned issues.)
This is a nice park that is well maintained. Road and RV sites are packed gravel; our site was nice and level. Small amount of grass with a nice table. All the hookups were convenient and easy for hook-up. We had some difficulty getting their Wi-Fi service the first night, but the next day were able to connect. We used their cable service and had good phone service. Most of the trees are still pretty small but there seems to be at least 1 at each site. We would stay here again. (Note: it is outside of town in an open area so when the winds blow, you do know it!)
The $13 daily rate is based on our staying there for 30 days. This is a nice RV Park with mostly paved roads. Nice long pull-through sites with room for our 36' motor home and our tow vehicle. We did have a bit of difficulty getting leveled off in our site. They do have some very nice shady sites; we chose to be in an open area so we could use our satellite. They are definitely OPEN, few trees to shade you. We did use the cable and the laundry facilities were excellent and reasonably priced. Free daily newspapers were nice too. Our biggest complaints were very poor Wi-Fi service (mostly non-existent) and small trash cans that would sometimes fill up. We would definitely consider staying here again.
This is a nice park, well-maintained. I couldn't personally access the internet with their Wi-Fi but we did have phone service. We didn't use the cable that was available. I also didn't use the laundry facilities - we were here only 1 night. It's obviously very family-oriented so I don't think I'd want to stay there during summer time, but it wasn't bad when we were there. We would consider staying here again, depending on the time of year.
We arrived here on a holiday weekend with no reservations, so the only spot we could get didn't have sewer hookup - so $41 a night with no full hook up is high in our opinion. It was congested and difficult to maneuver in. We did have phone service, didn't try the Wi-Fi. We would probably only stay here again in a pinch.
A small park that is near the highway so there is road noise to contend with. We stayed 2 weeks & there are no paved roads or sites, so it was dusty because of vehicles moving through the park. It's outside of town but near enough that it's not a big issue to get to town - I think only 5 miles. We did have good Wi-Fi service but absolutely no phone service until about 1/2 way to town. I didn't use the laundry facilities - went to town - because some machines were down. We might consider staying here again because the other RV Parks we saw weren't appealing.
We stayed here 2 nights. The in-town location was convenient. It has shaded sites so we couldn't use our satellite; they had cable available for a nominal charge of $1 per day that we used instead. A lot of permanent trailers in the park. We would stay here again if it would only be a short stay, probably not for a longer stay.
We stayed at this park for 5 weeks. The nightly rate shown was based on the total we paid for the 5 wks. If you plan to stay less than a month you will pay a higher rate. But, this is a beautiful park, extremely well maintained, pretty level sites and nice amenities. (Still costs less than most of the sites in Durango & is near enough to easily go into town as desired.) My negative would be about the laundry. Very small for such a large park & several machine out-of-order. We would definitely stay again - loved the area.
