Nice little campground. Owners and staff are great. Pool was just resurfaced. Everything is well maintained. We were here for a baseball tournament with two other RV's and they were very accommodating. They even provided a fire pit that was brought to our site and we bought the wood (which they sold us) and kids made smores one night. Definitely will return.
Very happy with this KOA. We were in town for my son's baseball tournament and could not have been happier with the host's and the fellow campers. Yes, everyone was a snow bird but what do you expect in Florida in December? Everyone was nice as we took our dog on a walk around the park. It is very quiet which was fine for us this trip, but if you are looking for a happening park this one is not for you. Lots are a little tight. Very clean and well kept. Will go back next time in Daytona.
This camp is very clean as with almost all KOA's. What I was not ready to see were how many snow birds call it home. We had two motor homes with 2 children (6 and 8 years). You would have thought we had the plague. The full-timers did not like us here and did not make us feel welcome. When we first got here, we walked around the park. We walked through the adult only pool area to see the restaurant and were told by two people that the children are not allowed here. WE WERE WALKING THROUGH. The kids were yelled at twice that they were not allowed to ride their scooters to the playground. There were others, but you get the idea. Through-out the weekend we were not made welcome. If you are older, this is a great resort, but young with kids, stay clear.
This is a great campground on the weekends. Lots of good people having fun. Problem is that during the week the RV's leave and the transient people move in. The are not "Campers". They live there because it is cheap. We had two coolers and firewood stolen. This is a county park so be careful.
