The only reason this place rates a 1 is for the somewhat level sites, and that's where the positives end. The staff is very unfriendly. Sites very in closeness to each other. The big rig next to us pulled in and proceeded to start and use their onboard generator. I called the front desk and she had to check if that's allowed in the park. Several campers in our vicinity drank and yelled until after 1:30 am and repeated calls from several of us campers to the office were left unanswered. The water here is terrible. Not sure what the smell is: not egg or sulphur. There is a dump that is closed down right across the street: guess it could be toxic runoff into the well water system. This was the worst nightmare we have had camping. We would never stay here again, ever. I can't believe this is a KOA!
The most friendly owners. Picked the sweetest blueberries. Wide site!! Immaculate and even had the local newspaper delivered to our site each morning. Very quiet at night. Plan on going back again!!
Overall, a friendly park. Clean and well-kept. Sites are a little close, although room for awning and slides. Restaurants within walking distance. Great price for hot deals! Family oriented. Will go again!!
Our site was tight. Could reach our neighbor from our window. Need to let campers know not to leave the garbage for a pick-up. It is not available, and there were all kinds of bags laying around at sites. Nice to have the tram and boat available to go to Indiana Beach at no charge. Cable TV there, but better bring a splitter as you share the one cable line with your neighbor, and no air TV there. Lots to do at Indiana Beach...will probably go again for something to do.
