I had stayed here before and liked the place a lot. The maintenance and attention of staff has gone down hill. Ladies room smelled of sewer gas. The maintenance man even told the guest host that water needed to be put in the floor drain. I stayed 4 days and it was not taken care of. No rule enforcement about dogs. Many were off leash and some were left out in pens so when I tried walking my dog he was approached by dogs off leash or barked at. I had to leave the property to walk my dog. Instead of edging or trimming the grassy areas, liberal amounts of herbicide were sprayed everywhere. I didn't appreciate it, since I worried about my dog's feet touching areas where these chemicals were used. Trash cans overflowed and were not emptied until just minutes before the dumpsters were emptied. That meant that the folks camping near the trash cans had to endure overflowing trash. Water connection down at ground level and leaked. The maintenance man said he needed to fix it. What happened to this place?
I called ahead to ask for a level spot and got a great one, concrete slab with a wooden deck attached. The dog stayed very clean on the deck. I used the laundry room, it was clean and reasonably priced. Small store in the office. The property itself is beautiful and I found it to be very peaceful with a pond and gazebo. Stayed a second day to rest up. The owners and staff were helpful and very pleasant. Highly recommend it.
Although this is a basic gravel parking lot, they have gone out of their way to make guests comfortable. There is a playground and a very nice pet park with tennis balls for the dogs. You can see the highway (80) but can't hear it. The staff went out of their way to find me a fuse that I needed. They couldn't have been nicer. The connections all worked and were in the right places, including the cable. Would stay here again.
I requested a level site and the owner went out of his way to give me a good site. The park had two very clean pet parks and management made it clear that we needed to pick up, everyone did! I used the showers and they were very clean. Ate dinner at their restaurant, and all of the staff couldn't have worked harder to make campers comfortable. I needed a fuse and although they had lots of sizes, they didn't have one that fit my needs. I appreciated the fact that they tried hard to find one. I would stay there again, even enjoyed hearing the rooster next door.
Since it was an extremely hot day I requested a site with shade. The elderly gentleman who escorted me to the site chose well and my dog and I were able to enjoy the shade. Even though I-75 was visible the road noise was not a problem. Good spot that is easy on and off the highway. Would stop there again.
