The sites here were a bit unlevel but not too bad, nothing that a couple blocks didn't fix. The camp hosts during our stay were very friendly and there were some severe thunderstorms in the area and they made it a point to come and update everyone on the weather. The weekend we stayed happen to be an Alpaca/Sheep shearing weekend at the farm and we had a blast watching them get naked. This is a great campground, like every other Virginia State Park.
We stayed here on a visit based around going to Medieval Times at Arundel Mills Mall. We arrived and checked in easily, we were escorted to our site. Once we arrived at the site I had to question if I could get my camper backed into the spot it was pretty tight, however our guide helped get me into the spot with ease, it was a bit unlevel, but nothing that a block on one side didn't fix. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful with all of our questions. This was our first stay in a KOA and we loved it. They had lots for our kids to do and some fun activities were going on. Our family plans to return to this campground as a base camp for a trip to Washington DC and Baltimore.
