Gorgeous park. Clean, neat and exceptional - definitely the nicest KOA we have been in. Huge sites that have fire rings and concrete patios. Management/staff very helpful and a great place to spend a night or a week. Lots to do in the area and wonderful fresh fruits available from local farmers. We will return.
A nice little unassuming park. A little noisy from I-95 traffic in distance, but not enough to worry about. Very basic facilities: no pool, but a clean laundry room and shade trees. Sites are fairly wide and solid under jacks. Office personnel friendly and accommodating. Great spot for overnight, easy off/easy on, outlet malls very near as well as Camping World. We will stay here again when in the area.
Nice campground - stayed here for a special weekend event so rate reflects that. Ladies showers are clean, need doors, not real private. People(residents) were very nice, but office staff (one man) seemed to be less than efficient. Special offer was for a weekend of food, fun and entertainment. We had hot dogs one night, no entertainment and were left on our own the rest of the time. We will try it again in the winter as the residents said it is wonderful then.
We stayed here in June 2009 and while the people who live in the park are nice, the personnel at the front desk are in need of a serious attitude adjustment. I called the desk about wifi and they told me it was available at the office bldg. so I went there only to be told it had been down for a few days and wouldn't be up til the following week. I could not understand why I hadn't been told that when I called from my site. The park is in need of a lot of work, they are supposedly selling lots there but it's crowded and no one follows any of the rules. Boats and extra cars are parked everywhere and when exiting with my motorhome I had trouble making corners because of all the excess junk sitting on people's lots. We paid $33 through PA and would never spend their normal amount of over $60 for a site in this park. We will not stay here again.
This place is disgusting and poor rep of Yogi. They need a customer service class to know how to treat their campers. Children had fun things to do, but overall this campground is dirty, and in desperate need of a lot of work. We will not be back.
This park is enormous, but the beach which made it well worth the size. A bit difficult to turn a motorhome into one of the little streets to get to our site, but other campers were very helpful to give us alternate way around. No escorts to sites. The store was well stocked, but it's only moments out the front gate to get anything you need. Sites are not huge and a little gritty from the sand, but nothing that wasn't expected. A fun place with lots of things to do on site or just out of the gate. We will be back.
The park is nice in areas. We were put in a space very close to I-295 and it was very noisy for the time we were there. We were asked at time of reservations how old our m/h is and told they have 10 year limit - but we saw m/h that exceeded that age and were not in very nice shape. Overall it is handy to interstates, and just a few miles from decent shopping and the airport. Air traffic was not a problem despite it's close proximity to the airport. We will utilize this place in the future
