We intended to stay here for 2 nights and ended up staying 5 nights as the Passport America price is so reasonable. The park is pleasant and comfortable with a great pool, nice showers and laundry, plus you can select your own site under one of the big shade trees. The staff was friendly and helpful, the grass was freshly mowed and we didn't notice any burrs. This is an older park but very well kept. We have previously stayed in the RV park at Winstar, however we will be staying here in the future.
This was a very pleasant park, easy access, level shaded sites, and great pool. The office personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. The few planes taking off nearby were enjoyable to watch and not at all annoying. Also we highly recommend a trip to the nearby Quarter Horse Museum. Will definitely stay here again.
This is a Texas state park and the amenities here are the same as all Texas state parks. The scenery was great, the hiking was great, the birds were great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed at Hackberry campground which had plenty of shade and the entrance is before the road construction. Keep in mind it is at least 10 degrees hotter at the bottom of the canyon than at the top. The only disappointing thing was the Texas play. The old play was better than the new 'politically correct' play, which relies more on fireworks than substance.
This is an old KOA park that the new owners have returned to great shape. The sites are all grass and basically level. There is a concrete slab with wrought iron furniture on each site. The cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great. The pool was cool and clean and comfortable and the restrooms and laundry were as immaculate as we've seen in any campground. The owner and office personnel were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and will return again.
This park is very clean and well maintained. The sites are large and level with grass and trees. The pool was cool, clean and refreshing. The office personnel were friendly and helpful and the shuttle service to the casino was very prompt. The casino is first class, as is the RV park. Be sure to see the swamp display and alligators in the hotel lobby. We look forward to staying here again.
This park was very clean and comfortable with nice grassy sites. The 2 ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful. The park is convenient to I-20 and the casinos and we would stay here again when in the area.
This RV park was pleasant and comfortable on the banks of the Mississippi River. We could see the barges traveling the river from our campsite and from the pool. The park is also very convenient to the Natchez area. The sites were large and grassy with level pull-throughs. The showers and restrooms were clean separate rooms, however there were no electric outlets in the rooms. We would stay here again when in this area.
The park is clean and well kept, with nice level sites, exceptionally nice restrooms and pool. However, cable TV is not available and we didn't appreciate the nightly sprinkler systems which came on while we were sleeping and and got everything wet in the trailer. Also the extremely loud weed eaters and leaf blowers at 7 am were very irritating. The workers actually came up to the picnic table while we were eating breakfast outside to trim and blow leaves. Management told us they had no control over any of this as it was an outside contract. We probably won't be staying here again.
We've stayed at Coushatta for the last several years and are very pleased with the RV park. The sites are large and level with grass and picnic tables. The pool area is usually exceptional, although this year it seems to be over-run with rowdy children from the rented chalets. The shuttle service to the casino is excellent, usually on schedule, and the drivers are pleasant and friendly. We plan to continue visiting Coushatta when in the southern Louisiana area.
This is the best RV park in the Ruidoso area. The staff is friendly, helpful, and willing to accommodate special space requests. The park is shady, pleasant, has a nice pool, and serves home-cooked breakfast & dinner in an outdoor patio area. We've stayed here several times and will definitely return.
This park is pleasant and convenient to all attractions except the race track. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The pool was comfortable and the showers & restrooms were exceptionally clean. We had a space along the road which was quite noisy at times and on our next visit we will request a different area.
For a nice casino, the park showed little. It had no cable TV, no pool, no shade trees, site was not level, and the shuttle did not come to your site. The staff was not friendly or helpful. We should have dry camped in the casino parking lot, and will probably not return to this campground
This is the nicest KOA we have ever stayed in, definitely first class as is the Choctaw Casino. The grounds are immaculate, spaces large, showers & restrooms perfectly clean, staff friendly and helpful, and the casino shuttle responds immediately, picking up and delivering to your door. We definitely plan to return on our next visit to the area.
I felt this was a great place to stay, nice shady spaces and friendly helpful staff. The restrooms and showers were exceptionally clean. The only drawback is that the spaces are too close together. We definitely plan to stay here again, altogether a good experience.
Park is clean and well maintained. The sites are extremely crowded and not very level, no grass, mostly gravel areas. It is convenient to town, and to the casinos and race track. I would stay here again as it is very difficult to find any campgrounds in this area in the summertime.
Park is clean, pleasant and an easy walk to the beach, also convenient to shopping and restaurants in town. There is no shade, however the sites are grassy and level, and they are very close together. The pool is large and enjoyable. I would recommend this park and would probably stay here again, although not in the extremely hot summer months.
