What a pleasure to find this excellent park: great, fenced dog run with agility equipment; large pull-through sites; terrific Wifi we could access easily from our site; clean campground and welcoming hosts; and easy access from I-90.

This park looks new. It is clean, well arranged, easy access, private, and the WiFi is very good from our coach. We are only spending one night here, but would not hesitate to stay for much longer - especially here in the Okanagan region. The hosts are very helpful and informative.

When we arrived at 4PM, the site we'd been assigned still had the 5th wheel of the previous occupants on it - and no one knew where the occupants were. The campground owners were able to offer us a couple of alternate choices (the campground was fully booked for the July 4th week-end). We ended up using the full hook-up site next to the owner's home - a site that the owner's family uses when they visit. The campground is very clean and neat, on a lake, and is a very peaceful setting. If you end up on this site, be sure to have your porch light off at bedtime. We forgot, and the owner was most unhappy in the morning.

The very high ratings this campground received from Trailer Life and Woodalls must be for those who like lots of seasonal campers, and planned activities. We stayed 3 weeks, early in the season. Our stay was pleasant, but, as always with campgrounds where the transient campers are situated amidst the seasonal ones, there is a feeling that one is intruding. Visitors are charged for entry - whether they are staying 5 minutes or the day. This was a real nuisance to us, since we were there to visit family and friends, and would like to have welcomed them to our 'home', but the cost would have been prohibitive if we paid for them all to come. Since they all live on the Cape, they had no need to use the facilities, which is what I'm assuming the visitor fee is for. The sites are heavily treed, which makes internet and TV satellite access difficult, even with portable set-ups. Since the cable channels provided by the park are limited, this was a real negative for us. Use of this park was purely for location near family - we would not otherwise use or recommend it.

This is a good park for those of us who like quiet rural settings, with large open or shaded sites, no obvious seasonal campers, no planned activities, no highly manicured grounds, and a state park type setting. Our German Shepherd Dog is welcome, and there is plenty of room to take her for walks. For those of us who have too large an RV for many state park settings, but still like that type of camping, this is a great alternative.
