This is a excellent park. They have huge showers. Williams, AZ is just blocks away from the park. The people in Williams were extremely nice. Its 54 miles from the Grand Canyon. If your riding the train, its definitely the place to stay. If you want closer to the Grand Canyon, look for sites near Tusayan, AZ. The only downside to this park and the reason it received a 9 and not a 10, is that a freight train came by at 6am and 8am. If you don't have an alarm, then this maybe the park you will want to stay at.
We stayed at this campground only one night. It would not be my pick for a long stay, but it is sufficient for one night. The only major problem I encountered was that their free Wi-Fi does not work well with windows user’s computers. I entered the correct security key, but after connecting to their network I was never able to get an internet connection. I don’t think they need to advertise Wi-Fi if they can’t properly support it. One good thing is that there was a Wal-Mart and K-mart store very close to the campgrounds.
