An older stop over campground located adjacent to a I-10 in rural Texas desert. We have stayed here before and the owner makes improvements each time we come back. Limited grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants in the immediate area, campground has store and restaurant on site with beer, wine, milk bread etc. Very friendly and helpful staff that escort you to your site. Owner is on site and very helpful. Older clean well maintained restrooms, swimming pool and laundry room. Well maintained park . Small stocked fishing pond . Pet friendly for friendly pets. Hard packed gravel interior roads. Level gravel sites with some grass and trees between . Average space between sites . Picnic table at each site. Lots of room to maneuver in the park with long pull through sites. Good access to utilities and all worked properly. Good cable selection . Good free Wi-Fi and good Verizon data and cell coverage. Close to I-10 with some traffic noise and train noise. We would return.

Good overnight stop off I-35 in the Texas hill country. An older “trailer park” with mostly full time residents in trailers and park model trailers-aka cottages. "Resort" is a misnomer. Park is overpriced even with Good Sam discount. Passport America is not accepted on the weekend. Well marked access off highway just south of town. Efficient but not friendly office staff. Good asphalt interior roads with level gravel sites. Sites are large and long. The large mature trees make it a little tight to maneuver for big rigs. Watch your clearance. Utilities conveniently located and worked properly with good 50 amp service. Picnic table at each site. Pet friendly for friendly pets. Lots of room to walk Fido. Good free Wi-Fi. Strong Verizon data and cell phone signal, with cable TV stations. Clean modern showers and laundry room, with a pool, hot pool, exercise room and large rec/meeting room .Park is adjacent to I-35. In spite of the location it was quiet with no train noise, no plane and moderate traffic noise. Nice store and kid play equipment and nice pool and rec room. Close to super markets and hardware stores. I would not return due to the trailer park atmosphere, the age of the park and the price.

Rate is the PA fee. Good overnight stop off I-10 or destination park in suburban Beaumont, TX. Well marked access off highway just west of town. Very friendly office staff. Good concrete interior roads with level concrete unshaded level sites. Sites are large and long with ample room to maneuver for big rigs. Lots of room for slides with excellent landscaping and grass between the sites. Utilities conveniently located and worked properly with good 50 amp service. Picnic table at each site. Pet friendly for friendly pets. Lots of room to walk Fido. Good free Wi-Fi. Strong Verizon data and cell phone signal. Good cable TV stations. Clean modern showers and laundry room. Park is adjacent to I-10 and a rail line. In spite of the location it was quiet with occasional train noise on a seldom used rail line, no plane noise and moderate traffic noise. Nice store and kid play equipment and nice pool and rec room. Close to super markets and hardware stores. Water pressure, Wi-Fi and electric worked properly during our visit. Would receive a "10" if the park had shade sites and a scenic location. Would return and stay longer if in the area.

Destination campground located in idyllic wooded rural Virginia close to Charlottesville. Good well marked access from rural road. We usually don’t stay in KOA’s because they are overpriced with rude staff. This park is a wonderful surprise exception. A well maintained park with a pool, nature trail and kid activities. Picnic table and fire ring at each site. Lots of room to maneuver for big rigs. Sites are well spaced with good access to utilities and all worked properly. Good cable selection . Wi-Fi worked well. Destination campground located in rural Pennsylvania adjacent to the Gettysburg Battlefields. Price is for PA. Good well marked access from freeway on good narrow paved road. Its Gettysburg-all the roads are old and narrow! Gravel interior roads with less than level gravel sites. Better than average space between sites with grass and some trees between sites and a picnic table at each site. Lots of room to maneuver. Sites are well spaced with good access to utilities and all worked properly. Sewer connection is at rear of site so it can be a long run from rig to sewer. WiFi slow but did work. Finding a satellite connection is a challenge. I could not get off air TV signal. Verizon voice and data worked fine. Showers/restrooms are spotless and laundry is one of the best. Very very quiet with no train, plane or traffic noise. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were in the park in April, no flies as mentioned in previous comments. No horses-no flies. Park has a good store and lots of activities for the kiddos. This park is so close to the battlefields and the site of Pickets charge, you can almost hear the muskets and artillery. An excellent park for a base of operations for the area; Lancaster PA and Amish country, Washington DC, Antietam Battlefield, Gettysburg and other attractions in the area. We would return.

A remote campground located in heavily wooded hills. A little pricey for what you get. Access from interstate is on narrow paved road from I-68. Exit #15 and follow signs to campground. Do not use your Garmin or TomTom as they will direct you to a logging road. Gravel interior roads with gravel semi-level sites. Maneuvering can be difficult for larger rigs due to the trees and narrow roads. Sites are well spaced with good access to utilities and all worked properly. A picnic table at each site. TV and Satellite connections did not work at my site due to trees. Verizon cell and data worked in the pull through area. WiFi service was spotty. Showers/restrooms are terrible. The restroom smelled like a pit toilet. Very very quiet with no train, plane or traffic noise. Depending on who is in the office, you will be escorted to your site. Lots of full time folks giving some areas the look of a “trailer park”. Good for an overnight stay.

Park has an “urban” feel to to with lots of traffic noise and bright lights from the nearby horse racing track. Lots to do in the well-maintained clubhouse and store. Propane sold on site. Destination Park in the rural Texas panhandle just west of Amarillo.. Easy well marked access off I-40 close to many attractions in the area. Friendly office staff. Good paved interior roads with level concrete, long sites with room to maneuver. Lots of room for slides. No picnic table or shade trees. Utilities conveniently located and worked properly with good 50 amp service. Good free WiFi. Strong cell phone signal. Good cable TV and off air signal. Clean showers and laundry rooms. No plane, train or traffic noise. We have been coming here since it was new and its beginning to look a little long in the tooth. Pools are drained, clubhouse closed and restaurant barely an afterthought. Interior roads need patching and the park needs general maintenance. Lots of full and long term residents with all the debris that comes with a “trailer park”. Despite the minor changes since the park opened I will return , while traveling I-40.

A gated, senior, destination, resort park .Well-marked access off Dillon Rd, south of Desert Hot Springs . Check in is convenient with friendly staff. Located north of Palm Springs in the Colorado Desert with great views of Mt San Jacinto. Paved interior roads with lots of room to maneuver. Wide sandy level sites, no trees and a concrete slab. No picnic tables, fire rings or other amenities. Utilities were located at rear of site and worked properly . Good cable and free Wi-Fi. Unobstructed satellite connection. Park is well maintained, and showers/bathrooms were clean and modern. Great hot mineral pools. There is a store across the street from park with propane. Not a family friendly park-a 55 plus park that enforces the no kid rule. We have been coming here for years, and the park is becoming more of a park model park and less an RV park. It is still the best of the bunch in the Coachella Valley. Lots to do in the Palm Springs area and a great place to stay for the winter.

Well-marked access off Hwy 395, south of Lone Pine . Check in is convenient with friendly staff. Located in the rural high desert of the Eastern Sierra with great views of Mt Whitney. Newly paved interior roads with lots of room to maneuver. Wide, sandy, level sites with trees between sites. Panic table and fire ring at each site. Utilities all conveniently located and worked properly. Limited cable TV but unobstructed satellite connection. Wi-Fi worked fine. Pool was closed, but the hot tub was fine. Park is well maintained, and showers/bathrooms were clean and modern. Excellent store on site with propane. Pet and kid friendly. No train, plane, or traffic noise. Park is located far away from city lights so the night sky is bright and crystal clear. 100 miles from Furnace Creek, Death Valley. Stores, fuel, and other supplies in Lone Pine. Great place to get away from the big city for a restful stay or just overnight driving Hwy 395. Will return.

Price is the Pass Port America rate. Easy access from Homestead Rd. The park/casino/restaurant is under new ownership. Was here 10 months ago and other than a new sign and name change, no noticeable change in operations. Located in a rural area 3 miles south of Pahrump. Paved interior roads, concrete level sites, well-spaced with several spaces backed up to the small lake. Lots of trees and grass. A store, gas station, propane station, and small casino with a good restaurant on site. It's very quiet with no highway, airport, or train noise within miles. Pet and kid friendly . There is no cable but several off air stations. The Wi-Fi is in the office but a good cell phone signal if you have an air card. It is a good park to walk, ride bikes, and relax. It’s an hour to Las Vegas and an hour to Furnace Creek and Death Valley. It is a good home base if you want to explore Death Valley and ghost towns in the area. The park runs a shuttle to the other Casino in Pahrump owned by the park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All utilities were easily accessible and worked properly. Lots of ducks wandering around that leave malodorous nuggets that can be tracked into your rig. Be careful where you walk or where your pet walks. We will be back!

Easy access from I-15. A little confusing getting to the park on the Casino property. Take the last driveway into the Casino complex. The park is immaculate with lots of greenery and landscaping, and is well maintained. The RV park is adjacent to one of the best Casinos in California. Very quiet: no traffic, train, airport or other noise. Lots to do in the area: winerys, Old town Temecula and is located about 90 minutes from San Diego. All paved interior roads, with wide paved level sites, with grass between sites and with small trees. Big rig friendly with plenty of room to maneuver. Pet friendly. Not much for kids: an adult park. Staff was friendly. Great pool and hot Jacuzzi pools. All facilities are spotless. Shuttle runs to Casino and the food there is great. All utilities conveniently located and worked properly. The downside is they charge for everything: extra for a pull through site, a dog and the keycard for restrooms and pool. The park is over priced for the area, especially since it attached to a Casino. No store on site, although there are several close to the park. Would have rated a 10 but for the price, extra charges and lack of basic items in the office lowered the rating. Would return.

PPA rate. Easy well marked access from I-15. A rustic charming ,older trailer park with 5 pull-through sites for over night stops located in a rural residential area east of Beaver UT. Very quiet-no traffic, train or airport noise. Very helpful staff They do not take reservations , call ahead for space availability. Gravel sites and interior roads Covered picnic tables. Showers and restrooms a little small but clean and close to the overnight spots. Clean and well maintained laundry room on site. . All utilities were conveniently located and worked properly. No TV cable or off air. Good Verizon signal for cell and Wi-Fi card. The Mexican restaurant on site is great! If you don’t stay in the park then come for the Mexican food. Good for an overnight stop. Will return.

Easy access off I-70. Gravel interior roads. Gravel mostly level site with a tree at each site and a picnic table. The owners of this park have an inflated opinion of the park and it’s amenities and charge accordingly. Very expensive: charge $5.00 for each pet and extra person. The camper next to us had three kids and two dogs and paid $75 per night. No discounts, no pet facilities, no helpful attitude. Once you check in, you are on your own to find and back into your site. Staff attitude is take it or leave it. Was here in mid-October when the park was nearly empty. It appears to be very busy during the “season” with a zip line, restaurant and bar on site, raft company, bike rentals adjacent to popular bike trail through Glen Canyon along the Colorado river. Electric at extreme rear of the site, water in the middle and sewer at the front. My sewer connection is near the front of my rig so this was fine, but would be a problem for those with middle or rear sewer connections. Limited off air TV, satellite worked fine with few obstructions in the “big rig” area. Wi-Fi worked fine and there was a strong 3G Verizon signal for my Wi-Fi card. Restrooms are clean, but show signs of lots of use. Busy rail line located on south side of Colorado River about 300 feet from the park. The park is below I-70 so traffic noise is minimal. Now that I am done denigrating the place: it is close to Glenwood Springs, a delightful town in beautiful Glenwood Canyon. Great place to keep kids busy in the summer when all the activities are in operation. Its location, location, location and this park has it. Choices are limited in the area after 9/15, when many parks both public and private close for the season, therefore despite the criticisms I would return.

Easy well marked access from the interstate. A newer park located in a rural/industrial wooded area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Concrete interior roads with lots of room to maneuver. Long level concrete sites with a concrete patio and grass between sites. No trees or shade.. Utilities conveniently located and all worked properly. Over 60 cable TV stations. Free Wi-Fi. Restroom/showers were new and well maintained. Pool, playground and pet area were large and well maintained. No store or other facilities. This is one of the better parks on I-70. Most are older and full of long-termers looking more like a trailer park than an RV park. This is not the case with this park. It is very neat and orderly with a locked gate in the evening. Would have given the park a 10, but no store or other facilities. If this is not important, then it deserves a 10. We will return.

Rate reflects PPA. Easy access to the park, pay attention to the signs, the public paved access road is curvy with a very tight turn off Hwy 165. Off the beaten track yet close to all the Branson attractions. Very quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful and escort you to the site. Gravel interior road with ample room to maneuver. Ample room between the gravel, shaded sites. All sites are located on the perimeter of a large grass center with a large pool and wash/laundry room. Restroom/showers are immaculate and well maintained for older facilities. Wi-Fi was excellent and all utilities were conveniently located and worked properly. Mostly back in sites with several pull through with a few newer paved pull through sites without shade. Lots of room for the pets and appears to be kid friendly-we were here when few kids travel. Will stay here again when in Branson.

Rate is for Passport America. Easy well marked access from I-70. An older park with mostly “seasonal” residents. Friendly and helpful staff that escorts you to your site. Gravel interior roads with level gravel sites with grass between the shaded spacious sites. Long sites with ample room for big rigs. Utilities conveniently located and worked properly. No cable, but ample off air stations and no obstructions for satellite. Poor Wi-Fi, but good cell phone signal. Very kid friendly - fishing ponds, play equipment and lots of room to ride bikes. Shower room is primitive and pool is very small. Lots of golf carts running amok all over the park. 10 miles to the nearest shopping area-Wal-Mart etc. A small store in the town of Mulberry Grove. Good place for a few days or an overnight stop. I would return.

Easy access ½ mile north of I-70. Older campground located in a rural setting among rolling hills west of town. Checked in by a humorless grump. Hard pack gravel/asphalt sites with large grass space between sites. Lots of room to maneuver on the interior gravel roads. Mostly shaded tiered level sites adjacent to a pond. Water and electric worked well. Sewer was at rear of site. No caps on the sewer connections. No cable and 11 off air stations. Good cell phone coverage and did not use the park’s WiFi. Lots of dog waste and duck droppings all over the park, don’t wander around after dark. Residents living on the property drive too fast stirring up dust and placing RV'ers at risk. Would want to check out the KOA or other campgrounds in the area before returning. Don’t think we will be back.

Easy well marked access off Business I-70. Older park in town. Nice laundry with clean, well maintained shower/restrooms. Friendly staff. Paved/gravel roads with hard pack shaded gravel sites. Larger than average space between the long sites with picnic table at each site. Nice “off the leash” dog park. My Corgi was very happy with the park and the complimentary dog treat. Close to stores, such as they are in Green River UT. Utilities all conveniently located and worked properly. Free Wi-Fi and with 4 bar Verizon cell phone signal. Quiet setting with a little traffic noise. Not much available along I-70, Green River is it, unless you want to go 60 miles south to Moab. I have stayed here several times in the past and will return.

Easy access off I-70 in a high desert environment. Friendly staff, easy check in. Hard pack gravel roads with gravel sites. Not much shade and although the weather was dry and calm during our stay , rain could make it muddy and wind could stir up the dust. Long sites with average room between sites. Electric, water and TV conveniently located and worked properly. Sewer is at the “rear” of the site and can be a long connect depending on your sewer location. Mine is towards the front thus it was a long run to the sewer connection. A minor inconvenience. Showers and restroom small but clean and a little old. Good overnight spot and would stay here again.

A destination park on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd . The best of the parks in Las Vegas. Close to everything you want and need and to places you want but don’t necessarily need. (Gambling, casinos, buffets, and all the Vegas attractions). Easy well-marked access from I-15. Beautiful well maintained office and clubhouse with friendly staff. Rate is for Passport America. Paved roads with lots of room to maneuver. Sites are paved with a picnic table at each site under palms Sites are a little close but typical for this type of setting. This is an "urban' setting in the desert so grass and shade is limited. Gravel between sites. Utilities conveniently located and all worked properly. Fee for Wi-Fi but good cell phone coverage if you have a data card. Restrooms and laundry room spotless . Several pools for adults and children. Slot machines in the lobby for those that can’t wait to take a shuttle to a casino. We have e stayed here several times and will return. I have nothing negative to say about this park.

Easy access off I-40. Very helpful staff. Office and facilities are spotless. Level asphalt sites, paved roads, easy to maneuver. Wi-Fi, cable and all utilities worked well with easy access. The RV Park is part of the Grand Canyon RR Hotel and Train. Sites are a little close with no shade, however it’s a newer park and will have shade when the trees mature. Williams is within walking distance and a great place to spend a few days to enjoy the Grand Canyon or the train to the Grand Canyon. Price is the Passport America fee: 50% of the regular fee. Many good parks in Williams however, the access to the hotel and Williams with the Passport Discount make this more appealing. Will be back.

Easy well marked access on the south side of I-40. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Most sites are long pull-through level concrete sites with concrete patio. Wide paved interior roads with gravel between sites . Plenty of room to maneuver. Traffic noise is minimal. Utilities conveniently located in a modern box and worked well. Restrooms/showers are well maintained, clean and complete. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. We have stayed here several times and the pool and Jacuzzi is always an issue. The pool was open but the Jacuzzis were drained. The restaurant offered a full dinner but now it’s only pizza. However there is every national and local fare a few miles east off I-40. This is a great park for an overnight stop or a long term stay. We will return.

Easy well marked access off Hwy 50, just east of the entrance to Royal Gorge on the south side of the road. A work in progress, this newer park located in rolling wooded hills with a view of the mountains has potential. Clean and well maintained with nice landscaping and most sites shaded. Gravel interior roads and gravel sites with room to maneuver for large rigs. Unusual sites on gravel with concrete pads at the “deluxe sites.” Pull through sites are close with some electric connections on the passenger side of the rig. All utilities are new and worked properly. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Overpriced for the amenities: no cable or off air TV, small restroom/shower . Hwy 50 is a busy road with lots of traffic noise. Free Wi-Fi worked well. Limited cell phone coverage. Despite the quirks of the layout, it was a nice park. About the same price as the KOA without all the commotion of the KOA: water slide, go-cart track, miniature golf and tourist attractions. Not sure if I would return.

Easy well marked access from the main road. Well maintained gravel roads with level gravel sites located adjacent to the Dolores river at 8100 feet in the beautiful San Juan Mountains. Utilities are conveniently located and worked properly. We have stayed here several times since 1989 and each time the owner makes improvements when we return. The sites are all under trees with golf course quality grass between. Very very quiet setting with fishing, hiking and biking in the area. No phony baloney tourist stuff-water slides, miniature golf, zip lines, fancy over priced restaurants with bad service and mediocre food. WalMart and other business are 35 miles away. This is the finest RV park we have stayed in. If you have a bucket list of places to stay-add Priest Gulch. The negatives: no cell phone, cable or off air TV coverage but the Wi-Fi worked great, satellite TV worked fine. Free fire wood with fire rings at each site. Its RV camping the way it should be! Pet and kid friendly. It’s the totality of the camping experience-wooded mountain setting, spectacular views, sounds of the river and quiet setting, smells of pine and fir, friendly and helpful staff and perfect facilities. We will be back!!

Easy well marked access from the highway. Good interior gravel roads with fairly level gravel sites. All sites are shaded with typical distance between spaces. All utilities are conveniently located and worked well. Cable offered ample number of selections. Wi-Fi worked well. Pool, restrooms and laundry room well maintained and clean. Excellent views of the surrounding mountains and very quiet and peaceful. This is the ultimate spot for rail fans-the narrow gauge passes within 50 feet of the front row sites 4 times a day-6 times later in the summer. Lots of activities for adults and kids in the area. Hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking, cliff dwellings (Mesa Verde) fishing or doing nothing under the trees at your campsite. For a rail fan, this overrides any deficiency the park might have. We have stayed several times over the last 20 years and will return. Love those trains!

If you pay attention, which we didn't, the park is not hard to find. It's located in an industrial area-the view to the north is a cement plant. Close to Walmart and a Casino. Good paved interior roads, narrow gravel sites. Newer utilities that all worked properly. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was open and all facilities were clean and well maintained. Good park for an extended stay in the area or overnight. Good point of departure to Colorado and northern environs.

Easy access from I-20. This newer park is located between a green pasture and rolling green hills with a large new recreation hall with pool and table tennis and other games. Would be great place for a meeting or local club rally. The pool and hot tub were closed. Paved interior roads with paved wide sites well spaced. All utilities are new and worked properly. OK Wi-Fi. The spaces are located among shade trees with well-maintained lawns between spaces. A creek runs through the park with back -ins up to the creek. Several pull throughs. The creek is full with ponds-could be a mosquito pit. This is a well maintained park and well designed to give the feeling of being in a large park. The staff was friendly and generally helpful. The park would have received a 10, however the shower, although spacious and spotless, did not have hot water. Will be back. OK for overnight or long term stay.

Easy well marked access from the Highway-hard pack gravel interior roads with most sites pull through. Price is with an Excapees discount. Assorted pine and other trees at each site with picnic table. Lots of room to maneuver. Sites are dirt with gravel with some grass. The area is in a drought so grass is not doing well Utilities are accessible and worked fine. I have been here several times in the past and the pool has never been open. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Restrooms and club house spotless. Didn’t use their wifi. Close to town and all the sites in the area (Ft. Davis, Big Bend, Marfa lights, McDonald Observatory). Several long term folks have moved in and the park is moving from an RV park to a trailer park. Since it’s the best park in the area, I will return.

A great park. I avoid KOA’s. They generally are expensive, with narrow sites and rude staff. This park is the exception! The park is located 10 miles north of Carlsbad in the New Mexico high desert and is very quiet. The access to the park is easy and well marked. The staff were among the friendliest we have met. The facilities are excellent, well maintained and complete. The gravel sites are spacious and the staff park you well away from neighbors, if possible. All facilities worked properly and the wide sites gave you plenty of room for slide outs and the picnic table at each site. The hot tub was a delight. The free Wi-Fi worked well. If you enjoy begin away from the lights, noise and congestion of the city, this is the place. The night sky is so clear you can see the Aliens landing at nearby Roswell well-maybe. Lots of space to exercise your pet. Out Corgi enjoyed the tunnels, space and grass. We came for two days and stayed a week, and we hope to return. Other KOA,s would be well advised to take lessons from the folks here!

Easy access from Homestead Rd. Located in a rural area 3 miles south of Pahrump. Paved interior roads, concrete level sites, well spaced with some spaces backed up to the small lake. Lots of trees and grass. A store, gas station, propane station, and small casino with a good restaurant on site. Very quiet with no highway, airport or train noise within miles. Pet and kid friendly . The only detraction is no TV cable and limited antennae stations. We had satellite so TV was not an issue. Good cell phone signal. Not a lot to do in the immediate area, but a good park to walk, ride bikes and relax. It’s an hour to Las Vegas and a good home base if you want to explore Death Valley and ghost towns in the area. The park runs a shuttle to the other Casino in Pahrump owned by the park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All utilities were easily accessible and worked properly, however it did freeze at night, so be sure to disconnect water line and use internal water before retiring for the evening. We checked out the other parks during the week we were at the park and felt this is best of the bunch-all things considered. We will be back!

Easy access from Windmill/Blue Diamond from I-15. Located at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd and close to everything you need and lots of things you don't need in Las Vegas. Level paved spaces, paved interior roads some grass and trees. Park has well maintained amenities. Spaces are close together but typical for this type of park. Utilities were accessible and in good working order. Good TV cable signal and lots of local antennae accessible stations. Some freeway noise and lots of airport noise but tolerable. Good home base to see all the strip and all that comes with the excesses of Vegas.

We very rarely stay in a KOA due the high price and few amenities that very few adults use. This was no exception. There are limited options in west Texas off I-10 so this was one of the better parks in the area. Easy well marked access off I-10 in a rural setting. The park is close to the Hwy but quiet. Adequate size sites with hard pack gravel with grass between sites. All utilities were accessible and worked properly. Staff was friendly, for a KOA.

Easy well marked access from I-40 on the west side of Amarillo. Well maintained newer park in rural setting. Large paved interior roads with well spaced concrete pads. Small (3ft) trees in the gravel areas between sites. The pads were a plus since we arrived in the rain and did not have to contend with mud. All utilities worked well and were accessible in a central tower. A restaurant with limited menu on site and several immaculate laundry/toilet/shower buildings in the park. Would have given the park a 10, but the pools / Jacuzzi were closed. Quiet park with several long term residents. Close to all the chain and local restaurants in west Amarillo.

Easy access off US 70 onto Hwy 106 into the park. Well maintained navigable gravel interior roads. Full hookup sites are level some concrete pads. The pull-through sites are narrow and close to each other. All utilities are close and in good working order. Weak Wi-Fi and spotty cell service. The RV park is adjacent to Lake Texhoma with a marina, and store, some sites on the water’s edge with great views of the lake and environs. The office staff took your money and that’s it-could use some instruction in customer relations-no map, no directions to campsite, no rules-nothing. The park was clean, quiet and well maintained. The lake was very low due to the drought in the Texas/Oklahoma area.

Easy well marked access off the hwy. Friendly and helpful staff. Paved interior roads with gavel sites with a picnic table at each site. Sites are close but they make an effort to put a space between rigs. Utilities are accessible and all worked properly. Multiple hook ups at each site and a coax cable is supplied for the TV cable. Level sites and close to stores and restaurants.

Easy, well marked access off Hwy 95. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Spaces are very close-parking lot, with hookups. Paved pads with paved interior roads: easy to maneuver in the park. Each space has a picnic table with gravel between the close spaces. The 30 amp circuit at my space did not work but I could use the 110 circuit. Nice view of Lake Havasu and close to stores, etc.

The web page for this campground is deceptive. If you like camping in a landfill or in a debris field after a major earthquake: then you will love this place. I wasn’t sure if it was the abandoned trailers with broken windows or the plywood lean-to pit toilets that was the most disgusting. We called the listed phone number and left a message. Never received a return call. Drove the 9 miles from the park visitor center and attempted to make contact in the office which was surrounded by debris and trash. No one at the office or anywhere on site. Nothing is level and you can’t tell the muddy roads from the campsites. The Cottonwood campground is fine. Spider rock is not worth the drive from the visitor center. Put this on your do not camp list!

Easy access from the main highway. Packed sand interior roads with some trees. Maneuvering is tight and spaces are very close. All utilities worked properly. Nice hotel, restaurant and store. the park is located close to all attractions in the area and is a great place for a base camp to explore the Colorado desert area. A short walk to town. The park is usually full on weekends during the "season" and is used by several large groups. There are other parks in the area including the state park; however, this park is the best value for the price. Biking, hiking, 4 wheeling activities, or just gazing at the magnificent desert sky make this a park worth the return.

A 55+ resort park easily accessible off I-10. Of the 891 spaces approximately 150 are RV spots; the remainder are park models. All spaces are back in with good distance between sites. A raised concrete patio and park model residents' vehicles make maneuvering difficult but doable. All utilities worked properly with 60+ channels on the TV cable. Staff are friendly and helpful . The spa facilities (hot pools, swimming pool, rec hall, restaurant , exercise room, 9 hole golf, tennis) are immaculate and not crowded. Lots of hiking, biking, and walking opportunities for you and pets. Close to Palm Springs and environs with many activities at the park and in the area. If price is not an issue, this is a good place to “winter” or spend several days during the winter season. It is very windy most of the time-never leave an awning up unattended. A small market is located across the street from the park with groceries and propane. We have camped here many times as well as other parks in the Coachella Valley. This is the best park in the Desert Hot Springs area.

Easy access off I-10. Close to all major retail outlets. Paved interior roads with level gravel sites. Utilities worked properly. The standard desert park and gravel parking lot with hook-ups. Easy well marked access from the Highway. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of room to maneuver with pull through and back-ins. Well spaced large gravel sites with privacy barriers between sites. Well maintained gravel interior roads. If you are looking for the large park with activities and lots of concrete and rules-this is not your park. If you are looking for a very quiet park nestled among pinion pines and cedars in a natural ranch setting then this is for you. Park is well maintained and rest rooms are clean. Pet friendly with walking trails. TV channels are minimal with no cable at our site.

This was our 2nd time here. Easy well marked access off the Highway. Easy to maneuver and spaces are long with ample space between sites. Good paved interior roads with gravel sites. Brick table at each site with all utilities working properly. Staff was friendly and helpful. The park is the best of those in the Big Bend , Ft. Davis, Marfa, Alpine area. The owner is making improvements and the park is well maintained. Very quiet. We will be back!

Easy access off I-20 just east of Abilene. Good for one or two nights. Many long term working folks make the park more of a trailer park than an RV park. All utilities accessible and worked properly. Very small but clean restroom/laundry room. One shower and toilet each for men and women. Sites are long and level with above average space between spaces. Good gravel interior roads and pads. Some traffic noise from I-20. Staff was friendly. I would come back if in the area.

Easy well marked access from the highway located about 40 miles south of Memphis. Paved interior roads with paved sites-good access to utilities and all worked well. Most sites are back in but the pull throughs are long paved sites with grass between sites. The pull through sites have rear window view of the golf course. The park lights stay on all night and it is like Friday night football. Very very bright. The office closes at 5:00 pm and does not open until 10:00 am-when the office is closed you have to check in or out at the Casino Hotel desk. Very inconvenient. Sprinklers come on around 8am and soak the area around your site. No warning about the sprinklers and they come on about the time most folks are packing up to go. The park is very clean and quiet and well maintained . Trash is picked up at your site. Good place for an overnight or a couple of days to play at the several casinos in the area.

Easy well marked access from the highway. Gravel interior roads with room to maneuver. Level gravel sites with ample space between rigs with all utilities working well. This is a well maintained park that gets a lot of TLC from its owners. Spotless restrooms, excellent club house and recreation facilities. The owner is on site and is extremely helpful and cordial. The park is midway between New Orleans and Biloxi. Lots to do in the area, despite the drama connected with the BP oil spill. This intimate park is quiet and displays the pride the owners take in creating a nice environment. You feel like you are part of a family rather than a number in one of those large parks with rude, impersonal staff and congestion. Keep these parks in business by staying here.

Easy well marked access off I-20, located 1 block from the Mississippi River. Wide paved interior roads with paved level sites. Utilities easily accessible and all worked well. Close to casinos and attractions in Vicksburg. Wal-Mart about 2 miles away with several eateries close by. Lots of room for pets. Traffic noise was annoying and a train passes behind the park several times a day at all hours. The large level sites, easy access, friendly helpful staff, free buffet breakfast at the casino and the free shuttle to the casino puts this on my return list.

A no frills park with lots of trees and grass in a quiet rural setting 10 minutes from Mammoth Cave and Cave City. Lots of kid stuff in the immediate area outside the park if needed. We had no kids and no need for kid entertainment. A good point of departure for Mammoth Cave and surrounding environs. Easy well marked access from the highway with gravel interior roads. Gravel sites were not level and the "Bath House" was clean but old and "crusty". Could use some work. The fishing pond could use some work and had an "odor". The utilities were good and easily accessible-water, electric, sewer and Wi-Fi. Cell phone and Verizon Wi-Fi card worked fine. Owners were very friendly and helpful and are making improvements. Stayed 2 nights and would be back if visiting Mammoth Cave.

This is an excellent destination park. The Durango train runs through the park 6 times a day until 8/12 and then 4 times a day: a delight for train fans and small boys. The spaces are a little close together but the location of the park and the proximity to the many attractions and activities in Durango and surrounding environs make it tolerable. Maneuvering a large rig can be a challenge. Lots of shade trees and unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains. We have stayed here several times, usually for extended periods. The staff is friendly and helpful and keep the park well maintained. Put this on the "must stay" list.

Best kept secret in Oklahoma! A multi-use public facility that is family and pet friendly located in rural Oklahoma halfway between Shawnee and Oklahoma City. Very quiet. Malcontents and miscreants are not tolerated. All grass throughout the park, lots of space between campsites and the facilities are very well maintained. The major drawback to this park is the entry gate, which is closed and locked at 8:30 pm. Be at the gate before that time to gain access. You can exit but can not re-enter until 6:00 am.

The traffic noise from I-10 was unbearable! You could not sit outside and have a conversation. The site width is restricted due to elevated concrete patios. The gate staff were rude and were interested more in attending a staff dinner than checking in a paying guest. The coup de grass for this location was a park wide power outage in the morning. The pools were warm and clean and the faculties appeared to be recently renovated and were spotless. The narrow spaces, surly staff and traffic noise put this location on the Do Not Camp list.
