The sites are very close, bathrooms are dark and musty smelling. The Wi-Fi was not available at our site. We had reservation for a certain site but they changed it without telling us. Our reservations were made in off-season. Another couple we met and they made reservation the same time we did and they did not have a site when they arrived. The management had over booked the sites; this is bad for business. We have decided we will not stay here again.
This is a small gem of a State Park, very family friendly. Plenty of families with kids and dogs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The campground host came around twice a day picking up litter. The swimming area was used by many families and was a short walk. We will plan more trips there.
Nice little campground, some sites seem small and close together. There is a small store but it is close too the end of the season so the stock was low. The showers are clean but need some minor repairs. Everyone one was friendly and the owners seem to have things under control. It is family and pet friendly, plenty for the kids to do. We will stay here again.
Was a nice city campground on the edge of town. Roads are paved and the sites are grassy and pretty level. The sites are pretty close together. You will get to know the family next to you fast. The bathrooms and showers need some up dating. As long as I could get a full hook up site I will go there again.
We couldn't believe how nice this campground is. The sites are clean and have plenty of room. We stayed in site 6, which is a 3 unit site and a pull through. We camped here with another couple with a trailer. We had plenty of room to put up a screen tent between our campers. Fire wood is not supplied at this campground and is expensive from the launch service (almost $6.00 a bundle). There is a laundry between the shower houses. There are 2 play grounds for the kids.
This was a nice park except the sites very close to each other. The host was very helpful and even informed us where to go in case of a storm. The office is a beautiful 100 plus year old home. This campground was a bit noisy because it was in town. It is good for an over night stay, and we would do it again.
Host was friendly. This is a rowdy bunch. Lots of drinking, lots of golf carts, and traffic in campground. Mostly seasonal people, very few people who were passing through. Too far from turnpike, very hilly road and sharp turns. They said no pit bulls, or rottweilers. First thing we saw was a pit bull and then two rottweilers not tied up. Scary place, will never stop again.
Very neat RV park, most of it was closed off because of a heavy down poor of rain this last few days. This once was a KOA, by the looks of it. Very easy to find from the highway and easy to pull in and out of.
A poorly kept up campground. Not much space between sites, no shade, and no storm shelter that I am aware of. Not very pet or family friendly. The only things going for it: it's close to the freeway, and it's 20 bucks. I have no idea if there are any rules or check in or out times.
This is another great Minnesota State Park Campground. The spaces are larger then most other camps. I enjoyed all of the different wild flowers. The sites are easy to back into, and pretty level. I will be staying here again.
Very well laid out RV park and dog friendly. Shuttle buses to the casino. Fire department just outside of the RV park entrance, also EMT's on site. Very well patrolled day and night. We plan to go back again.
The people running the campground where great. The site they picked for us was more than I expected. They have been making improvements since they took over the campground. The store was one of the best I have seen during my whole trip this year. The campground is located close to the train, so you can run into visit Philadelphia and not drive. Going into Atlantic City by car it was easy and quick. I would recommend this campground to any family that wants to stay near Atlantic City.
