I can not say enough good about this RV Resort! We selected the location because of the advertising of easy pull though and no need to unhook. It was perfect! The staff was extremely friendly and escorted us directly to our site. It was perfectly flat and in a matter of minutes we were set up. Never needed to disconnect and we were perfectly level! The grounds are very well maintained and it is peaceful! Spacious grounds. They served complimentary waffles the next morning for breakfast. We enjoyed it so much that we cut our Myrtle Beach trip a day short so that we could spend another Friday night there on our way back home. It was just as pleasant and they remembered us. We were treated like family and will absolutely stay here again.
This was our first visit and I have to say will be our last. Granted, we were there over memorial day weekend, but it was over-whelming with the amount of golf carts! At one point we were told that 30k had arrived and 5k more were expected. I know, I know, it's the largest RV resort on the East Coast, I should not have been surprised! Not pedestrian or biker friendly. Nightly fireworks terrified our older dog. The sites are practically on top of each other and very tight! Be sure to check their descriptions carefully when reserving your site or you may be in trouble. The plus: the staff was super friendly! The grounds were kept clean. Our only issue with the small sites, crowds, and rude golf-carters. As others have stated, everything you need is there (unless you run out of beer and then you have to cross the street to Walmart). We met lots of folks that absolutely love it here, but just not our type of place. If you don't mind large crowds, countless golf-carts cruising non-stop with their music playing loudly, then you will love it here! However, if you're looking for a nice place to enjoy nature and find serenity, I highly recommend looking else where.
