The scenery is gorgeous and access to the hot springs a 2 minute walk or nearer depending on where you are located in the campground. There are a variety of site classifications and the deluxe sites have the best views of course and more amenities. Very family friendly. Can't really go wrong on any of the sites. Everything is well serviced and maintained. There is no Wi-Fi at the standard sites.
This campground is right next to the tracks and the trains run through frequently, day and night. We left on the air conditioner to mask the noise. In addition, the highway overpass is being constructed right beside the tracks. Okay for a quick overnight stay but expect to be waken often. There are 2 nice city beaches with beautiful clear water steps away; you can walk a minute over Bridge Street/Marina and you are on main street Sandpoint. This would be a gorgeous location if it weren't for the constant thunder of freight trains.
This is a gem of campground! Right on the Lake of Coeur d'Alene with marina, a small beach and the 70 mile bike trail of the Coeur d'Alene's located beside it. Hospitable camp host and beautiful scenery! There is a sewer dump on site. It is about 1 hour from the city of Coeur d'Alene and, if towing, best to access via I-90 and highway 3. The scenic route highway 97 is very narrow and winding for towing but gorgeous view for a drive. We will definitely return and have recommended the campground to family and friends.
What a gorgeous park! The sites are spacious, private and have beautiful foliage and trees. What a gem! The manager is resident and friendly. We happened to arrive the day of the farmer's market which had local fare, fresh vegetables and the tastiest home smoked salmon. The RV park is near a gas station, bank and convenience store and walking path. No concerns with the park but it was a 15 minute drive to Port Hadlok for the nearest real grocery store. Port Hadlok also had a great off leash area on the beach and some nice walking trails. It was very peaceful and we would definitely stay here again.
The park has gravel sites with lawn and picnic tables. The grounds are open with small trees but the park is located right next to the river with beach. Easy access to downtown Coeur d'Alene due to it being next to the highway, which can be a bit noisy. There is a great cafe downtown that makes a mean pumpkin/white chocolate chip muffin which goes with a nice cup of coffee as you enjoy a table on the sidewalk. The resort has a floating circular dock that goes out onto the lake and provides a beautiful place to stroll. We stay here again.
The view overlooking the ocean bay and bridge was quite scenic. The sites are graveled and full service with Wi-Fi and cable. Laundry facilities are available and access to town is over the bridge. Waldport is a small tourist town which is very relaxing. We stayed for a few days just to wind down in the middle of our trip. There is great access from Waldport to Newport and then on to Corvallis and Portland. We would stay here again.
The sites are paved, level and full service. You are surrounded by woods and each site is individually integrated into the foliage. The beach is within a few minutes but it is accessed by a path through the forest and beach pines within a five minute walk. Once you get to the beach, it is the usual beautiful flat Oregon sand which has a roaring surf and a firm surface for running. If there was Wi-Fi, this would be a 10. Quite gorgeous.
The park has most amenities. The sites are cemented and level and have full hookups. They serve a continental breakfast and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are ocean views but access to the beach is contorted. It is a few minutes to the outlet mall. It has a small pet off leash area. This is a great park for staying in the city. We would stay here again.
The RV park has all the amenities. The laundry facilities were excellent and access to Cannon Beach is a minute. Go to Dooger's for the BEST clam chowder! The sites are paved and sites are nicely treed. We would definitely stay here again.
We were in site 88 which was just over the sea-grass covered sand dune from the beach. Absolutely gorgeous! You could hear the roar of the ocean which was absolutely amazing. Access to the beach was less than a minute and it is an expansive, flat beach which is perfect for runners. The sites were paved with full service. This is one of my favorite parks in Washington/Oregon. We would definitely come here again and recommend it.
We stayed at this park due to its close proximity to the ferry, which was no more than a 15-minute drive in morning traffic. Access to the park is odd since you drive through the auto parking lot: it is very easy to miss the turn-off. The park managers are friendly and helpful but the spaces themselves are extremely compact; no more than a couple of feet between rigs. There was a small pet walk area. It met our purposes which was an overnight stay with quick access to an early morning ferry.
A clean, well kept and friendly park. It is located next to the music school which has paved walking paths for delightful strolls. The river was a trickle when we were here. It is a short drive to the town of Leavenworth which is a quaint Bavarian-style tourist town. The laundry facilities were clean and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again.
