Nice park with friendly helpers. Sites are long, but some are not level. Due to the area it is a bit hilly, so expect to spend some time leveling. Second time in this KOA. Lots of families here due to time of year, but except for a few barking dogs it was quiet. We would stay here again.
This is a no frills park and we have stayed here several times while in the area visiting family. Hosts are gracious and friendly. Checkin was quick and easy. The only drawback is they are constantly full especially on weekends, so reservations are suggested. We will stay here again when we are in the area.
This park was difficult to find which is unusual for any KOA. The sites were long, but not too level with mostly dirt. The checkin was quick and friendly and we had an escort to our site. Lots of big trees so maneuvering was tough in our 40 foot fifth wheel, but we managed. Bathrooms were clean and due to a rain storm we did not use pool. Just make sure of your directions before trying to find this park.
This was our second stay here due to our traveling plans. We liked that it was quiet even though it is close to the interstate and that checkin was quick and efficient, however, if you want or expect any discount you better have cash available. Found this out upon arrival. In spite of that, we would stay here again.
Wow!!! What a nice surprise. After reading the reviews on this site, we called and they had a site available. The owners are the sweetest, most helpful folks we have run into in quite a while. There were many horse trailers with loads of very friendly people. We did not have any animals but were not treated any differently because of it. There were horse rides available as well for anyone interested. Sites were level and laundry and bathrooms were immaculate. There were several RV people in the park and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. So much to see in the area and this made a wonderful place to setup and visit all the attractions. There was a cookout and pot luck on Monday evening with music. The only downside to the place were the flies, but virtually no horsey odors. Just had to keep a fly swatter handy. We plan on going back when we can. Highly recommended.
Nice park with friendly, helpful staff. Large sites with plenty of room. Pool was sparkling clean and there was a small snack shop inside the office that served pizza and hot wings as well as salad and ice cream. Nice not to have to cook after getting bounced around Colorado's highways. Only thing weird was the "one lane" tunnel from the Interstate to the park. Quite an attention getter but manageable. We would stay here again, no problem.
This is an excellent place to stay in the Williams area. The owners are friendly and make you feel as though you are family. Breakfast served each morning and cookouts on the weekends. We were to be there only a week, but with the July 4th holiday looming, we asked to stay another week. It was handled quickly and without any issues. The Grand Canyon Train was just down the road and there was a shuttle to take you and pick you up each day. All in all, a really good stop for us and we would stay there again and again.
This was an overnighter for us mostly to get out of the weather and just rest a bit. Check in was quick and efficient. Had an escort to our site which was huge. Plenty of room and didn't feel crammed in. They had breakfast and coffee in the office, but we didn't go. People seemed to be very friendly and we would stay here again. Maybe next time for a few days.
Well kept KOA. Since it is in the desert it is dry and very dusty, but the owners were very pleasant and helpful. The site was plenty long and level and we were not crowded together. The laundry was too expensive and the pool had a lot of leaves floating in it. But all in, it was nice and clean and we would stay here again if we get back this way.
This park is everything you could want. It has level and gravel filled spacious sites. We had to go to a different site than assigned only because of some very low hanging tree limbs, but it was not an issue at all. New owners are in process of fixing up and reviving this park, but it is the nicer of the ones in the area. Management was very helpful. Some road noise from I-40 but not enough to keep you up at night. We would most likely stay here again if we come back this way and the price is reasonable as well.
This was not where we wanted to be but due a breakdown on the road, we ended up here. It was just a few gravel sites on a hillside with no laundry, restrooms, or showers, but the manager was very nice even though cash was the accepted form of payment. Thankfully we had some that day. The site we had was fairly level and the WiFi worked very well even in storms. We had no issues with anything here even if it was not our first choice.
This park was small but well maintained. Sites were a bit close but level and clean. It seemed to be pretty full due to construction workers, but everyone was friendly and pleasant. Management was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Trains were loud and frequent but it is the southwest. Hot, dry and lots of trains. We would stay here again.
This park was a nice little gem. It was well maintained and managed. Check in was quick and efficient. The sites were spacious and level. Pool and laundry was very clean. My husband said the bathrooms and showers were also very clean. The grounds were lovely with plenty of trees and flowers. Such a nice surprise! We liked it so much we stayed another day.
This park was not what we expected any KOA to be. When we made our reservations we were told there would be a pull through big enough to accommodate our rig and tow vehicle, as we were not wanting to unhook. That did not happen. The site we were given was small and very close to our neighbors. So close we could not even open our awning. The pool was closed, due to a maintenance issue. We went up to the office and spoke to the manager about the reservation we made and that we were not happy with the site we were given. They refunded our money which we were happy about, no problems. That night, there was a live band in the park playing very loudly until 10 o'clock. Not the best nights sleep we ever had. Needless to say, we were glad to pull out in the early morning. We would not stay here again nor do we recommend it to anyone else.
Used this park in the past, but probably not come back again. The laundry was dirty and in need of some repair. The bathrooms were nasty and there is no shade at all. It used to be much nicer. It is out of the way from the road and road noise, which we like. Sorry to see it go downhill.
This park is an old KOA and has several full time residents; however, it was clean and maintained, had a nice pool, and plenty of shade. We were only going to stay one night without unhooking, but stayed two nights because of bad weather. We had to pay an extra fee for 50 amp. service, but other than that it was a decent stay. We would probably stay here again.
We stopped here for a few nights on our way south and found this place to be small, but nice. Sites were clean, level and fairly large. Laundry was only $1 to wash and same to dry, excellent! Staff was pleasant and helpful. No pool and my husband said bathrooms were old, but clean. No credit cards accepted, cash or check only so be prepared. All in all, nice place. We would stay here again.
We stayed here to be near family we were visiting. Location was good, between two Interstates. Our site was acceptable. Not too small with a little tree. Unfortunately for us, we could not open our awning because of the tree, but it wasn't a huge issue. The bathrooms could have been cleaner and the laundry was definitely in need of cleaning. This was the second time we have stayed here in three years and things seem to be going a bit downhill. We would probably seek out a new place should we come back to the area.
Pretty place. Very clean and far enough off the interstate so it was pretty quiet. Friendly staff. Did not use bathrooms, pool or laundry. We were there for an overnight stay. We would stay here again.
Great park with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed through Labor Day and got caught in some bad weather, so we stayed a little longer. The bathrooms and laundry were clean and well kept. Very, very nice location right off the interstate, but pretty quiet. We would stay here again any time.
When we arrived here we were checked in quickly and given a long pull through. Our site was long enough but a little narrow. Unfortunately, we found every dog in the park liked our side yard too. We have never stayed in a park where this was a problem as most folks pick up after their animals. After picking up after the animals so as not to bring it in our rig, we noticed the owner's dog was quite fond of that spot and was not restricted from roaming the park and leaving "surprises". The WI-FI signal was a bit weak, bathrooms and laundry were both clean. All in all, nice place as long as you do not mind cleaning up after the owner's animal.
We stopped here overnight and the site we were given was almost too small for our rig but we managed. Level sites and clean surroundings. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was next to the Interstate which is good for on and off but a bit noisy. There was a restaurant in the park and since we were there for an quick overnight, we went in for dinner. The catfish was fresh and hand dipped in cornmeal and the mashed potatoes were homemade. Breakfast the next day was equally good. Very nice surprise. The only downside was the WiFi was very weak. We will stay here again when back in this area.
Decent park with lots of space and plenty of shade. We were very happy to find the city bus picks you up for downtown and drops you off right in front of the park. Only $1.10 one way, a bargain! The water pressure left a lot to be desired, and there is an extra charge for cable TV. But because the park is in the city, we had no problem getting about 15 to 20 local channels with our antenna. Laundry room was clean and staff was very helpful.Plenty to do in the area,if you want, or just relax in the pool. Clean and well kept. We would stay here again.
We were on our way west and stayed here for one night. The office had a wonderful store with just about anything you could imagine or need. Staff very friendly and courteous. Did not use bathrooms. Pool closed because of disability laws. The down side to this place was that the sites were very unlevel. We did not unhook and still found it difficult to level things out. Park is located in an industrial area and big semi trucks could be heard rumbling up and down the road all night. We would really have to think about it to stay here again.
We checked in for a week and had an issue with our main slide, as we were setting up. A neighbor came over to see if he could help, saw our problem and promptly gave us the name and phone number of a mobile RV mechanic. Got a part ordered and it took longer to arrive than we liked, but the resort was very accommodating. We had to stay a few extra days to get everything fixed. Very helpful, nice staff. Bathrooms were very clean as well as the showers. Pool was a bit small but everyone seemed to be enjoying it. There is a car and RV wash facility in front of the park, and very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay, and would camp here again.
We were very pleasantly surprised with this park. It was very quiet, well kept and pretty clean. The laundry room needed some cleaning but all in all it was good. Wi-Fi worked great, no issues at all. No cable, but for us it was no problem. The one drawback for me was no mature trees. There are some trees, but they were too small to give any shade. The sites were quite large with plenty of grass. The sites also were gravel but were level. The managers were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area.
We were taken back by the closeness of the sites. The Wi-Fi did not work. The campsite had not been cleaned from the last group and there was plenty of trash left for us to pick up. The park was along the side of a lake which was quite pleasant, but it was almost 7 miles from the Interstate through a city. Not a problem for us, but some may not like the distance. There were quite a few permanent campers. Overall, fair stay, but, probably would not stay here again.
This is one of our favorite parks. We stay here every time we travel up or down Interstate 75. Quick on and off and very clean. Hosts are friendly and helpful. This is one park that will give the Passport America discount for each day spent. Just make sure you have cash to pay if you want the discount. The saline pool is refreshing and clean. The laundry facilities are clean, and there is a nice community room with fresh coffee. We cannot say enough good things about this place. We will most definitely stay here again.
Nice enough park hosts, but the site we were given was set up very strangely. We were escorted to our site and then set up by the park employee. My husband was not too thrilled about that as he prefers to set up our home. The park was very near the Interstate but not too much road noise to speak of. We were there through the July 4th holiday and there were many "guests" at the pool. We did not use the pool, laundry, bathrooms so cannot review them. It would be good for anyone wanting to stop here to check it out online before doing so. We probably not stay here again.
This park was very close to Milwaukee and very handy for us, however, it was difficult to get to due to the gravel road in. The road was full of huge holes and there were several unnecessary speed bumps as well. Since the road in was in such bad shape one could not "speed" into the park. There were few signs to show the way into the park but after two calls, we found it. The couple running this place were very friendly. The spaces were all on a hill and close together making it difficult to get in and out of the spaces. We would probably stay here again, but in a smaller rig.
We stayed here and fell in love with this campground. The park is an older park but very well maintained. The manager and all the workers were extremely nice and very easy to talk to. We were very impressed with how well this park was maintained and how clean the bathrooms and showers were. The pool was wonderful and also very clean. We will be coming back for a much longer stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay on the east coast of Florida.
We were pleasantly surprised at this gem. Our host was very friendly and honored Passport America's 50% off even though we were here on a weekend. That is a first for us. The park was very clean and well maintained, we had an escort to our site, trash was picked up outside our coach daily. This was to be a one night stop for us but we stayed for two, just to rest up a bit.
