First, on the positive side the restrooms are clean, staff are friendly, sites right on the water with a nice pier, good views and rates are reasonable. Negative side, stayed for 3 months but had to shorten the stay by a month so the last month they forced me to move to another site. Why? The exercise room is a fitness center 3 miles away and you have to leave a $10.00 key deposit. They charge for Internet and electric. Other than that, it was a nice place, but will probably stay somewhere else next time.
Heard about this park while in Arizona. Stayed June to September 1. Hosts are the best I've encountered anywhere. They even took us on an ATV ride around the numerous trails and roads near the park. Sites are gravel and level and can handle big rigs. Only complaint is that the roads are narrow, but I understand they are expanding the park with wider and longer sites and road. Very quiet and the large lake is good for fishing. Even had a grizzly bear on the access road near the park and understand a mountain lion has been seen. It is an easy drive to Yellowstone park about 20 miles. I would definitely stay here again.
This is an excellent park, predominantly pull through sites. Very clean and well manicured, and almost all the sites are real grass with asphalt or concrete pads. Very helpful staff, and they lead you to your site.Good Wi-Fi and cable TV ( all free). In the park they have canoe and boat rentals to go up the Oklawawa River to see the gators and monkeys (left over from the old Tarzan movies). This is the best RV park we have stayed in so far. We would stay here again.
Friendly staff and clean but no dedicated RV area. Sites were between homes and very difficult backing in (no pull throughs). No cable TV (30 day stays or greater); 4 Hrs wi-fi then you have to pay. No true concrete pads, mostly sand and some grass or scrub. Plenty of ants, had to spray constantly. 95% permanent residents. This is advertized as an RV park ( not really). We will NOT stay here again.
