This was a decent campground. I was skeptical, as I had read some negative to scathing reviews (particularly how customers had been treated by the owner) before my first visit. The park was neat and clean. The pool and lake were also attractive. Office staff were pleasant and helpful. Passport rate is reasonable for a park of this caliber. I will continue to stay here twice a season as long as I am treated as well as I was on this initial stay! The Wi-Fi worked well. Cable was 70+ clear channels.

We liked this park. We stayed extra days. It is a short commute 8-10 minutes from Cedar Key. Rainbow now has Wi-Fi and it worked well. This campground is less than half the price of the one closer to Cedar Key. Only complaint: while there, maintenance filled in roadway with HUGE stone, and was concerned about cutting a tire. Poor choice of road fill.

Nice park. Stayed here at the Passport rate of $17 plus tax. A bargan for this area. There is good cable TV and Wi-Fi. Only drawback was the roads: quite bumpy and can get real sloppy after a rain. Will stay here annually on my trek through the Panhandle.

They have rules about BARKING dogs, but will NOT enforce them. We left earlier than planned, because after REPEATED complaints about barking dogs, nothing was done. I don't pay this kind of money to listen to such unrelenting "noise." We will NOT return to this park.

A GREAT campsite for the money ! Clean, with all the amenities. Good Wi-Fi, cable, and electric. A great deal @ $16 (Passport rate). We stayed 2 extra nights. A friendly and professional staff. This park is one of the most pleasant experiences of 6 years of full-timing.

Nice park, and the closest campground to the town of Deadwood.

We were promised a pull-thru site with sewer by a female employee at the park, as washing clothes was a priority. Upon arrival, a male worker over-ruled the decision of the female, and would NOT allow us to occupy the pull-thru site, and could only offer a back-in site with older sewer placement at the extreme rear of the site. The sites offered could not be accessed for sewer without 20+' sewer hose. Male employee rudely told us "you can get your money back and be on your way". WE DID. Deer Ridge Camping Resort could only offer us a broken commitment and rude behavior.
