We stayed in this park last year and all I can say is what a wonderful park this is. The staff are really friendly, great store, easy access to village, wonderful activity schedule, great amenities. I can go on and on and on. Tried getting a reservation for this year and was unable to. Not happy with the alternative park.

The GOOD: Huge lodge and well stocked, great activities for all, great amenities, easy check-in and warm staff. Short distance from LG Village where you'll find great prices on souvenirs. The GOOD TO KNOW: Bug spray needed EVERYWHERE you go as "ponds" are more like swamps, and there are quite a few. A bit on the loud side with a lack of security and/or policy enforcement. The WOULD LIKE TO SEE IMPROVED: Security, no drinking in the pool especially where it is a family campground and certainly NO DOGS in the pool. I thought that was terrible. A staff member was close and nothing was done. A mosquito warning should be posted on your website especially for people that are highly sensitive. My daughter was bit so many times that we had to check out early, drive back 6 hours and see her doctor. Not good at all. The ice cream area should be more "kid friendly". Perhaps it should be separated from next to the register. There was always a line and no where to stand and wait. Wi-Fi is offered around the lodge and grill. The connection was so slow that I was not able to connect. It be best to charge a small fee for internet and have it available in the entire park. We would not go again. Sorry!

We had been trying to get to J & D for two years and finally found reservations for this past month. The park is VERY clean and quiet. Knoebels Amusement Park (wonderful by the way) is literally down the street from the campground, big plus if you have children. The pool was small but perfect for the children. Ice cream shop right across the street is nice. Our first impression was not that great because of the small office. Our site (16D) was also right across the dumpsters and hubby was not happy. A different site was offered a day later but by that time we had been set up and settled and we all know that that's not an easy thing to do. But with every disappointment, comes a bright side. We discovered a wonderful river right past the dumpsters and spent some time reading there. Overall, a nice park and would recommend it. Just don't expect it to look as nice as the website because it's not.
