I'm not sure who should be more ashamed of this campground the owners or Corporate KOA. Where do I start?: horrible roads, very outdated electric hookups; in fact the first site I was given had services on the wrong side; at the second site when I opened the electric box to plug my motorhome in I discovered no outlet at all, just open exposed live wires. How could this happen and how do they get a presidents award for '08? These are the questions I want to know answers for. Bathrooms, office, and game room were quite disgusting, including roaches. I cut my stay very short. This campground in one to just pass on your travels.
I was to stay at least a month, but had enough after 1 night, place was a joke. I personalty wouldn't have trusted the employees as far as I could throw them. I noticed drug activity and also a bar located on the campground where locals visit, Police were there twice during my stay serving papers to other residents and one was arrested. I had big rig and had to get on top to clear the power lines and trees. Was told there would be 50 amp but only 30 was there and water lines leaked badly needs lots of work.
Very Poor, this place is a accident waiting to happen, outdated electric, very poor roads, overflowing trash cans/dumpsters, very rude staff. While walking around during my one night stay I saw tires, awnings, and even an old transmission laying on the grounds.. wanted to check-out mins after checking in but no one at office, to discuss the matter, spoke with lady in the office the next morning and asked to speak with owner and was refused
This is a Gay Campground membership required Very Nice has a lot to offer, clubhouse, rec. room, gym, pool and hot tub, helpful, friendly staff very rural, a bit off the beaten path
