Things have changed since last posting. Gravel roads and sites are now dirt with many large holes. Only three of the sites (pull thru) are available for over nighters, all others have been taken by settlers. Many of the settler’s sites are nice but some are trash. If you stay on the weekly or monthly program you pay for electricity. Showers, restrooms and laundry are so dirty I refused to do laundry and went to town. The owner informed us that the park is up for sale and they are not doing any maintenance unless it’s an emergency. Overall the park is only a shell of its former self. We would go back because it’s the lesser of two evils and the only parks in the area.
The steep uphill check-in was bad; you stop in a parking lot with many cars. This could be bad during busy time since you have to turn around in the lot to get to the site. We were not greeted. The assigned pull thru site was too short with the tow attached and we were not able to sewer connect after getting the tow off the street. Site was not level and the sites in front of us, the people could not get level. We were offered our money back if not happy. Looked at other sites and they are not level. Would not come back.
Park has gone downhill over the years. The settlers have taken over some areas of the park leaving the leftovers for the members. Park needs road work, be careful of the holes and sloping roads. Good points are laundry is very clean and all machines working. Pool was closed for the season but opened for a few hours for a family group. While everything was great the park has a run down look. Will stay here again.
