Nice quiet park in a rural setting. People are very friendly and our initial registration was very easy. Dirt pads, but that wasn't a problem at all; very level. Pet friendly. Unfortunately, the only reasons I will not return is lack of cell service and lousy Wi-Fi, although the park is advertised as having it. Otherwise, a very nice park.
I rate this park an 8 based on its location. We were in space 113 for two nights. These spaces are the highest with absolutely gorgeous ocean views with great sunsets. Only electric available at these sites. It was a back-in site, easy walk to beach, and lively area with a lot of outdoor activities. Onsite general store and restaurant. Did not eat there but did buy a few items at store (high prices). The road to the park, about 14 miles, is narrow, windy, and hilly but worth the drive. Google Earth the road to see what I am talking about! We will return but for a longer period of time. Make sure you are well stocked with food and drink.
Nice park and close to the ocean (across the highway) with an ocean view after a short walk. Base rate was $46 but taxes, dog fee (one dog), and some sort of "service fee" put the total at around $63. Pull through sites. Nice onsite restaurant, a bit expensive; although, the chicken Caesars salad was great. We picked this park because it was pouring down rain and we wanted to stop driving. Overall, an okay place, nothing special.
Okay for the price. A bit noisy from the surrounding highways/roads and some sirens from police and fire. Otherwise, pretty quiet park. Easy drive to the Las Vegas strip. Immediate surroundings include various fast food restaurants, Walmart, Sam's Town casino, tire repair, and others. Nice thing is a local company delivers propane to your site.
