We camped here for a week in September, not very busy at this time of year. We had a great site facing the river. The sites are large and grassy. The owners are very friendly and helpful and sells dry firewood for only $5 a bundle. The Wi-Fi is excellent service. It is a beautiful and clean campground, we would recommend this campground to everyone.
The owner has set the washers on small loads with cold water, but he doesn't tell you that, so you set the washers on large load and you put your clothes in with laundry detergent and it only fills up half way, at $2.75 a load it's a rip off! The owner doesn't want water spilling on the floor, he might have to mop it up. The showers are old but clean and you have to let the water run for 5 minutes for it to get hot. The campsites are long and woodsy. The town and park areas are very beautiful.
We camped here the first week in September, the campground and sites are small but clean. We did not use the restroom. They did not have any brochures on golf in the office, besides going into Ottawa for the day, there is nothing to do in the area. This campground is good for a 1 night stay.
