This campground was formerly Green Valley Beach campground, which I understand was sold to new owners in May and is now named The Great Divide. We chose this campground due to it's proximity to our home for a quick weekend away. I actually had high expectations since it was newly owned, that it would be a great campground. Unfortunately it was a disappointing trip. Check in was fine, smooth and staff was friendly. We got to our site, which was insanely far from the pool, activities, etc., and it was on such a slope we couldn't level our class A. Also the smell of sewage backup was so strong it was borderline unbearable. We called the office and was told we could move, so we moved down the hill a little to a more level site (m29). No smell and much better, still really far from pool but what can you do? After setting up, realized the cable TV wasn't working. Called about that, was told the handyman was in Pennsylvania and would be by in 2-3 hours. Needless to say: never saw him, or any other staff for that matter. They claimed a tree fell on the cable which is why it wasn't working. The family across from us had their own axe and was going to vacant sites and ripping off tree branches from trees to cut firewood. Most places we have camped do not allow this. There is also something unsettling about people roaming around with axes. My last problem was that when we were ready to leave and dump our tanks in the sewer, the sewer port is too small for the standard RV sewer hose. So my husband had to hold it down to the hole while I pulled the tanks. No rocks would have held the hose in place, and it's a shame because the sewer hole looked new. I am assuming a lot of these issues are due to new ownership, cash flow, and learning as you go. It has potential to be a nice campground, although it is spread out, so if you don't have a car or tow vehicle it is tough to get around. I hope the new owners work out their kinks and have a nice successful campground. We will probably not be back too soon though.

We had such a great experience at this campground. We had a back in, full hookup site with cable/wifi, nicely shaded and pretty private, nice fire ring and clean picnic table. This was one of the cleanest campgrounds I have ever seen; the crew is constantly cleaning the grounds, the bathrooms, etc. Seems like a lot of activities for kids. There is a really nice fenced in dog run, that if you have dogs is worth it right there. The office store was very well stocked with some very cool items along with the usual stuff. The snack bar was closed when we were there. I guess it opens with the pool, which looks really nice as well. We look forward to going back in the summer to check it out. Some people say it is too pricey, but I will say it is worth it for sure. Really nice group of people, very clean, very safe. I liked the back in sites better than the pull throughs, and we were staying in a site considered "not premium". But while walking around I still liked our regular full hookup site better. Even though I think you would be happy anywhere at this campground. Very easy trip from the NY thruway to campground, not bad at all. Two thumbs up from us, we will be back for sure. Happy travels!

Stayed here for a quick overnight to meet up with friends in the area to go to the nearby mountain springs arena to see the Rodeo. Very nice campground, very large sites, some grassy, plenty of space. Pool area looked very clean, there was a cute snack bar, and a pretty large camp store. We didn't get to do much at the campground but from what I saw overnight I would definitely go back again. Also, it is only one mile off of route 78 so if you are in need of a place to pull off on your way north or south this would be a great option.

We had a great time camping here, it was our first experience at a PA state park, and it was everything we expected and more. This park has a lot of hiking trails, and we did only the "shades of death" trail and went to the famous boulder field, both were fantastic. The park has a very nice sand swimming beach that has a snack bar and restrooms, very nice. The campground was very nice, spacious, wooded, we stayed in an electric site. The restrooms were very nice and there was a separate dish washing area which was great for those who needed it.We would definitely go back.

It was our first time here and really enjoyed it. We stayed In a site on knob hill, easy to back into and very spacious. Easy walk to camp store and pool, tennis, etc. The pool area was really nice, a huge plus was there was a separate "adult only" pool with a hot tub, very nice and well maintained. The regular pool was very crowded with kids, but it was a packed weekend. Nice tennis courts also. We walked through the area where there was primarily tent campers and it was very spacious and wooded. A huge plus at this campground is the fact that all the sites are spacious, not at all on top of each other, very private. We never used the restroom so can't speak of those. The owners were so nice and welcoming, it was truly a great camping experience. Would definitely return.
