We spent a week here while our children attended a hockey camp at Acadia University. It was an older crowd and mainly seasonal campers who were not there through the week. It was the hottest stretch of weather we had all summer so it was perfect to be in the a\c in the trailer or have the pool to ourselves. They offer the seventh night free, unfortunately we had to cut our week short and not receive our free night due to Hurricane Bill rolling through. Nice clean and quiet campground, just not much to do.

Very convenient campground right in the downtown area of Antigonish. We were here for the Highland dance competition as part of the Highland games. The pool was very clean and a nice size. We paid 1/2 a day's rate to allow for a late checkout as the girls were dancing until after lunch time. It allowed us to swim some more in the pool and stay for supper before heading home. We will stay again and have already booked for July 2010.

The park has many activities planned for the kids, but the activities are very short and are not always what you would expect. The schedule that is given upon arrival looks impressive but in fact the activities are sometimes just watching cartoons in the rec hall. The pool is way too small for a campground this size. They do have a "jumping pillow" that the kids loved, and they do not charge for it, and it is open all day. At the hottest point of our stay there the pool had to be closed due to someone using the bathroom in the pool. This was unfortunate, but it reopened basically right after the "item" was removed from the pool. We decided on a water fight back at the site instead of a swim in the pool. It was a Halloween theme weekend when we were here, and the kids had a fantastic time dressing up and receiving candy from all the sites. Overall it is a great family oriented campground they just need to spend some of the money they are making on the high nightly rate and upgrade their facilities and install another pool.

Had planned on three days but once we saw the campground we changed our plans. Lots of seasonal campers.

Beautiful campground on the Saco River. Large facing sites which is very nice when traveling with another family. Wagon rides each night, movies for the kids, very nice clean pool. Very central campground for shopping district and close to several attractions in the area, i.e. Storyland, Mt.Washington, etc.. Stayed here for five nights. Will definitely return but will stay longer for sure.

We stayed here for one night as a quick stop over. They were very accommodating and we were able to have face-to-face site with our travel companions which was very convenient. Free firewood and with such a small campground there was one campfire which all attended which was very nice to get to meet other campers and share stories.

We found this campground owner very unhelpful when we called ahead to cancel our sites after we had an unfortunate change of plans and we were unable to make our planned reservation. We had also heard that the sites at this campground were very wet and boards and rubber boots were required to get out of your trailer. When questioned about this the owner denied it. We did not get to stay here but after how we were treated we never will.

We spent two nights here. This was not nearly enough, there is so much to do. Lots of really nice walking trails, pool, beach walking, biking, canoeing. A real treat for the nature types.
