Nice park with very friendly office people. Beautiul office including laundry room and recreation/computer room. Clean bath & shower building. All buildings are knotty pine with chainsaw statues. Spaces have no shade & the roads are gravel. Great area to explore Silver Falls State Park with 10 waterfalls,Oregon Gardens & the historic town of Silverton & the Charopoeg State Heritage Area.

If you can dry camp this is a delightful place, shaded by enormous cottonwoods, with large level sites easy to get into. The ambience invokes peace. The park is a long walk to the Tower and prairie dogs live in the near by field.

This is not a typical KOA. It is like a private park. It is not open in winter. It is a green oasis on the open plains. It has lots of mature trees and there are no trees in the area. The owners are friendly & share their petting zoo. The headwaters of the Missouri River is near.
