Two night stay for Madri Gras Celebration. Close to downtown and restaurants. Sites are still a little rough and west perimeter sites have a slight incline but manageable. Only a few cement sites are available as it appears some long time campers were already there. Sites were first come, first serve although they are numbered. We complained to the management and they said that they were addressing this as this is still a new park. Pool and playground were under construction. Great party facility on property and plenty of parking for motorcycles and extra vehicles. The staff was courteous, but not very knowledgeable about camping and RV sites.
First time at this campsite and will most definitely return and recommend to all my camping friends. Owners and staff were excellent. Owner actually helped me change a tire and took my truck to his shop to change it and stow flat tire with his tools. Campsites were all good with a camper wash in the rear of the park. Many had cement pads and concrete tables with good vistas. Best part of our vacation.
