Nice park has all the things that we look for in a campground. River View lots and not "View" you can not hear or see the river it is there but the brush takes over the seeing and the looking on our river site. It took us about 15 to 20 minutes to pull out of the park onto Busy rt 28. There was construction on the road and and the traffic was heavy and with 48K of weight and a toad I don't have a "hotrod" RV and I like my RV and Toad not to get bent up trying to get out of the entrance. We like the area very much and I will return to Gladstone but will try other parks.

This park is on RT 28 the busy hwy will keep you in the park for activities like bikes and walking to town. Town is a few miles to the east and by car it is great as well as Christmas which is short on stores and long on finding something here except the Casino. There were dogs everywhere when the locals come to the office to chat and they come with many dogs. Now I am a dog owner myself but putting my dog on the ground was not a option since the dogs were loose and my little 5 pound mutt is afraid of other dogs. Make sure that you meter check the AMP's coming into your RV so that you do not burn out the appliances. Nice views of the Lake but if you want a site ON the lake call early. They are gone by January 30th of the season year
