This is a fairly large park with level sites and close to Johnson City which has many good restaurants. You really should try Cootie Browns or the Peerless. For any RV supplies I would recomend Crowder RV just down the road a little distance. The staff at the park are friendly, but there are just too many seasonal campers for my taste. If you need a place to stay in the area I would recommend this park because of the ease of access.,You could park any size rig in here with no problems at all.
This is a fairly new park close to Smith Mountain Lake. The sites are not level and require some effort to make your rig level. You can get a big rig in but some of the pull through sites require dodging fire rings and trees. This park is okay and is just about the only thing around, thus the high price for what you get. There is no internet service and my Verizon MIFI did not get but one bar, sometimes. If you need to be in the area; this is the place to be, because there is not much else. Access to the park is good and there are a couple of restaurants close by.
Nice park with easy access to I-81 without a lot of interstate noise. It is just a 10 minute drive to Salisbury with good food and a few interesting sites to see. The downtown has some neat shops. The pull through sites were mostly wooded and very large and mostly level. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here-even for just overnight and back on the interstate.
This is a nice clean park with level sites. Access to I-64 is easy and access to Williamsburg and surrounding areas is very easy. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are grocery stores and restaurants very nearby.
Not a bad place to stay-not many seasonal campers and the park is clean. Some of the sites have the sewer hookup on an incline above the site making for interesting dumping. The sites are mostly shaded and level. Access from I-85 is easy, but you must pay attention or you will end up going the wrong way and have to drive 5 miles to find a place to turn around. Will definitely stay again.
This is a very clean park with room to maneuver larger rigs. These are all shaded sites with gravel pads. Although the sites are fairly close, the grounds make up for it. For the money it cannot be beat.
For an overnight stay it is OK. Would not want to stay too long. Be careful getting in the campground as the turn in is pretty sharp. We have a 36' fiver and were able to get in, but you must move cautiously. Sites were pretty level.
