Stayed here three nights. Called ahead and spoke to owner, very very friendly and helpful on directions in town. Park is clean, well kept, great shade trees, six blocks off the main street so very quiet. Traveling in 40 foot motorhome, space plenty big enough for our rig and our tow. Great trees for shade, wonderful WiFi and cable reception, also good accessibility getting in and our of both RV spot and the park itself. Owner thanked us for staying. Would definitely stay here again.
On our tour thru Wyoming we stayed three days two nights here. The park itself is very well kept, great trees and areas. The owners were very helpful about local info and made us feel very welcome. Should we come this way again I will say we will not stop here, the reason being is the park has very "tight spaces", there simply is not enough room for half the RV's in here; the spaces are short and close together. Flower barrels in the park make it hard to turn into spaces. The parking is a nightmare we had to back our truck out just to leave the park to go to town. The park is spotless, very quiet, however far too crowded for the spots they have. Average length for a good stay here would be 25 feet or so, its a matter of parking logistics. The fellow next to us in 5th wheel is simply worried about being able to get out of the park when he leaves.
Called ahead to make reservations for this park in Spearfish and glad we did as the week-end we were there, there were lots of local activities. We got the last spot. Owners are great, very helpful and friendly. The park itself is rather a hidden jewel up on the hill and large. We had a back in space just big enough for our 40 foot motorhome. The spots are very close together and we had to park our tow vehicle across the road. Our neighbors were rather noisy and because we were so close it did make a difference. I checked several times for Wifi access and was never able to find any, however I did pick up the signal from the RV park next door! The guy next to us was not able to use his dish due to all the trees blocking the feed. The park itself was clean and very busy. The location was good for our local travel plans from Spearfish, we stayed three nights. I did notice others were having issues with not being able to pick up any Wifi signal. I did like the campground however I felt the spots were too close together, we would likely stay here again but for shorter time.
I called ahead and made reservations with Elaine for 8 nights nine days which allowed us the one night free. Upon arrival we were greeted by Elaine and her husband, the owners. In a nutshell this is one of the nicest RV campground we have stayed at, it was wonderful. The spaces are huge, the area is grand and its quiet as a pin there. The location was perfect, we had deer in the yard daily and our RV spot backed up the a wildlife area. We were one half mile from the entrance to Custer State Park and perhaps a mile to town. We travel in a 40 foot motorhome, the people next to us were traveling in 45 foot motorhome and had plenty of room left over in their spot. The grounds are very well maintained and park laid out very nice. We already have plans to return next summer. Wi-Fi reception was good, we had a fire ring and view of the pond. This campground RV park is a jewell.
We were visiting a friend in Worland and needed a place to stay. I called ahead to make sure we would have reservations and spoke to the owner. She took my name and date of arrival telling us to have a safe trip there. The campground was a great surprise. She parked us under a tree for the shade, traveling in a 40 foot motorhome we do not always have a big enough spot; we did here along with our tow. The camp was clean and very quiet. We camped here one night and would definitely stay here again. WiFi and cable were excellent.
