Campground is set up for long time residents but pull throughs are available for short term stays. Pretty dusty with no shade available and no vehicle washing facilities in Quartzite. Very little highway noise. Electricity is metered if staying for other than overnight at 22 cents per KWH. A laundry is available. Rate shown is for a weekly stay, daily rate is $23. There are a couple of high priced grocery stores in Quartzite, but nearest Walmart is 35 miles away in Parker.
Park is flat, dusty; sites are fairly level and there are a few skimpy trees around but it is in the Sonoran Desert. Huge feedlot down the road emits a smell that permeates the RV, even with windows closed. Also, the highway is fairly busy with big trucks going by at all hours of the night. Wi-Fi signal is weak and sometimes completely drops off. Due to the odor and noise, we would not stay here again.
Long term spaces are in a circle, inside a fence, with trees, near the clubhouse. The sites outside the circle are simply a graveled, rocky parking lot, although they are level. Electricity is metered at 12.5 cents per kwh. Wi-Fi is restricted, as the whole park is not allowed more than 350 MB/day, so they advise you to only check your email and not download anything. Our view out the front window is of I-10, and you DO get highway noise, despite host's claim to the contrary. I couldn't tell what color our motorhome was from the back, due to the dust on the 2-1/2 mile road here, but they do allow you to rinse the dust off. I wouldn't stay here again.
This campground is located near two major highways and there is a trucking yard behind it. It was very noisy all night long. The Wi-fi did not work, although we could see the antenna. We were unable to use it from our RV, and when we went to the office, the strength there was barely enough to get online. The park is sand or dirt, and there are very few trees. There is a large wooden wire-spool at each site in lieu of a picnic table. Rate was $18 with Passport America. We would not camp here again.
I agree with other reviewers: this is a nice park for an overnight stop. Friendly owners and level sites. Escapees discount was a nice bonus. Extremely reasonable price compared to other parks in this area.
This is the second time we have stayed at this nice quiet park. Although close to I-30, the road noise almost non-existent. Friendly owner who guided us to roomy pull-through site. Most local TV stations (except CBS) were available with our roof antenna. Very nice overnight stop.
