This campground is located near two major highways and there is a trucking yard behind it. It was very noisy all night long. The Wi-fi did not work, although we could see the antenna. We were unable to use it from our RV, and when we went to the office, the strength there was barely enough to get online. The park is sand or dirt, and there are very few trees. There is a large wooden wire-spool at each site in lieu of a picnic table. Rate was $18 with Passport America. We would not camp here again.
I agree with other reviewers: this is a nice park for an overnight stop. Friendly owners and level sites. Escapees discount was a nice bonus. Extremely reasonable price compared to other parks in this area.
This is the second time we have stayed at this nice quiet park. Although close to I-30, the road noise almost non-existent. Friendly owner who guided us to roomy pull-through site. Most local TV stations (except CBS) were available with our roof antenna. Very nice overnight stop.
