This campground is UNIQUE- you have to enter the smokey residence of the owners to register-take a right or you will be in their bedroom! The bathrooms desperately need new floors (the throw rugs are too ragged to wash) , but walls and showers are ok. However, the signs in the bathroom are the most BIZARRE we have EVER encountered. Multiple signs with threats- one begins, "I am sick of scraping boogers off the walls.... " and covers other bodily wastes that have been removed. Another sign details the proper disposal of used toilet paper (not in the trash). A body waste disposal war zone? The owners are very helpful but I could not work up the courage to confront them about these AWFUL signs as we were stuck staying there. We would not stay there again. Life is too short.

I would give this park a 9+! This small park is clean and well run as both the owner and managers live on site. They are knowledgeable and helpful about every topic. The facilities are spotless- both the showers and laundry were always clean. This location requires driving to access everything but in return you get a very quiet and secluded area in return. We would definitely return to this park and recommend it to friends!

This is a wonderful campground-one of our very favorites! This made us a big fan of Arizona State Parks and prompted us to seek them out whenever possible. The spaces are roomy, and the showers are spotless! The rangers and volunteers are very helpful and friendly. This state park is state of the art, gate key entry, great hiking, clean air, fabulous views, amazing cavern tours, viewable wildlife, good Mexican restaurant in Benson. Every time we stay, we want to stay longer!!

We have stayed at the lovely RV Park many times and have always loved the entire experience. We even ventured into the very elegant restaurant for a desert and were graciously welcomed (we were dressed for camping, not a 5 star restaurant) by a man who turned out to be the owner. Our last stay was disappointing in that the restrooms were not clean; usually they are very clean. However, we did show the manager our complaint and there was an amazing response- a coupon for a free stay with golf. The Benbow is well loved by many return guests for the European atmosphere, excellent food and service. We plan to always make this RV park our stopover on the 101.

If you love being able to camp on a sand peninsula on the water (Colorado River), having a campfire and enjoying the beautiful weather and privacy- this is a treasure. Every time we stay, we hate to leave. This is the best of camping- good hiking, nearby historically sacred native meeting areas with many pictographs (Spirit Mountain area west of Laughlin), total privacy and interesting groups of snowbirds on the long term peninsulas. We may be one of them next year!

This is a well run rv park that seems to have many return visitors- including us! We have gone out of our way to stay here we like it so much. The couple/owners are terrific at hiring good staff and keeping the place spotless. They are willing to spend what it takes to maintain the park, and even continue to improve it. If we were ready to work at an RV park, this would be the place. We will be staying there again this month.
