We arrived late and picked up our late arrival packet at the check-in office. We were given a map of the campground with directions marked to our site. We had a view down the dock over the river from our breakfast table and it was great! We were within sight of the pool, which has a water slide. The employees in the office were very helpful and friendly. The bathroom/showers are cleaned daily. I felt that it was a little expensive for the sites near the water but we will definitely stay there again!
The lot sizes are extremely well-spaced and the campground is very neat. Our site was along the creek but within site of the pool and laundry facilities. The pool water was sparkling clean and heated which made evening swims very comfortable. The laundry facilities were well-maintained and clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay there immensely! We will definitely stay there again!
When we arrived at the campground we were escorted to our site. We were squeezed in between 2 other campers to the point that we had to choose between using our slide (a necessity) or our awning. We could not walk between the slide and the other camper on that side. The campers on both sides of us left early because we had been sandwiched in between them. The sites are too close together. A member of the office staff reprimanded my niece (age 11) for picking up a water shooter in the office to look at it when she had done nothing wrong. This same office person was rude to my mother-in-law on the same visit. Also, my nieces parents had to pay to visit the campground every time they wanted to see their children. The fee was in my opinion excessive. We were supposed to stay longer but we were so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving early and cutting our vacation short.
