This park was clean but sites are very close together. There was very little/no shade up front but in the back where the smaller spaces are there were plenty of trees. There's a small above ground swimming pool, we didn't use it but the kids seemed to like it. The scenery is great, and was nice to be away from the noise of Durango, yet wasn't too far away, only a short drive. The only complaint I have is that the mosquito's were so bad probably due to standing water. Walking the dogs was miserable if you forgot to spray.
This park is very clean and nicely spaced out. We stayed in one of the pull-through terraced sites and there was plenty of room between us and our neighbors. It looked like some areas of the campground had sites closer together. Deer wandered through the campground nearly every day we were there. The people in the office were helpful. The only complaint I have is there is no cable TV available, but we knew that before reserving there. We stayed for a week and would return if we're in the area again.
Very clean, quiet, well kept park. Wireless internet and cable worked great, and no problem with cell phone reception (AT&T). Downside - sites are very close together, our sewer hookup was just feet away from our neighbor's picnic table. Our site didn't have a fire ring, we only saw a few sites that did. Not much activity, most people tended to stay in their campers. If you're looking for an over night campground, this campground would be perfect. We were in town for work, and away most of the day so it worked fine for us. If in town for work, we would stay here again. If vacationing, we would look at other options in the area.
