Beautiful mountain setting, and well maintained private sites. Staff are always friendly. We love to camp here with our dogs as the sites are so large and surrounded by trees.

Campground (the lower part) has very mature trees, nice grass and was quiet at night. Very close to the museum, go-cart racing, as well as the attractions in Drumheller. Having said that, we had a great time just staying at the campground swimming in the pool and camping. Staff were very nice, and patrolled the campground quite a bit for excess noise. Made it a very family friendly environment.

Wonderful private sites surrounded by mature trees and hedges. Has the best playground right in the middle surrounded by a beautiful grass park. We were really pleased with our campsite due to privacy. Laundry and showers were very clean and office staff were very nice. They don't have cable TV hookups but we had three TV stations (air) come through very clean. The only two downsides were that it didn't have a spot for campfires on the ground (it did have a standing bbq where you could use firewood), and it didn't have sewer at each site. However the sewer dump was easily accessable and clean.

Office staff were very nice, but we did not have a good experience at this campground. It was very noisy as it is beside the highway (I think all of the spots are quite noisy), and completely mosquito infested as the campsite was filled with water and the grass hadn't been cut in a long time (was over my knees). The grass was as high as the top of the picnic table. This wasn't a short term thing, as it looked like it hadn't been cut at all that year. Staff did try to move us to a different spot but it was so wet (it was a grass site) that the trailer was sinking into the ground, and it was right beside the highway so very noisy. It also did not have 50 amp service or sewer. They would not move us into a more appropriate spot in the campground, even though there were empty spaces at that time as it was coming up on the long weekend and the campground would be full at that time. If 16 West RV Park would have just declined our reservation because they didn't have an appropriate spot, we could have made suitable reservations elsewhere such that we wouldn't have had to cut our trip short.
