We have stayed here twice now, and it has become one of my all time favorites. The river side spots are large, and they let you pull in in any direction to optimize space when camping with multiple RV's. They are also tent friendly and have rental bunk house tents available. The area surrounding the park is a state park with lots to see and do, gold panning for example. They have a trash can in every site that they empty everyday, and sunshades are provided. There is lots of shade, but it does get hot in summer. You can raft down the river from one end of the park to the other, and they rent the supplies locally. When we arrived the initial vibe was they were rule happy, but we stayed up till the wee hours and were never bothered. Try it; you'll like it if you like a nice family camping park.

It is a great place for a short trip in the winter months. Summer here can be hot and crowded the bees are bad in summer as well. There is lake fishing and boating nearby you can fish the river but they have seasonal rules. It is nice for riding bikes and walking and they have a seasonal nature center. The price is right and the people are friendly and they don't bother you unless you are very loud. The gate locks at 8pm so plan accordingly you can park a car outside the gate if you forget.
