This was the worst campground on our entire trip and we stayed at 6 others. Just a dump. Pool was empty, no fire pit for campfires, grass long and weedy, and holes everywhere. Besides the conditions the owners are complete idiots. We decided to cut our stay short and gave them notice in the late afternoon that we would leave the next day due to the poor conditions but they made us pay for one extra night since we didn't give the entire 24 hour notice. Good way to get extra business. I would not recommend this campground to anyone. There are much better campgrounds in the Tetons as well as in Yellowstone and the price is the same. Run far if you want to stay at this location. They are idiots stealing from common folk looking for a nice place to stay. I good sucked in and it will never happen again.
We decided not to stay here once we had a conversation with the lady at the front desk. We stopped in at about 8PM just looking for a place to park and sleep and be on our way by 8AM the next morning. The individual was very rude and really didn't want us to stay. It was if it was to much work and when she gave me the price for 7 people she had the nerve to say you might as well stay at a hotel because it will be cheaper. From the outside things looked nice but if that is how people in Minnesota treat people passing through,
This is a very peaceful location. The owners are great. We were driving through Minnesota and needed a place for the night. They were very accommodating and the site was great. It is a campground with many retired campers and they really do not have kids at the campground. It was so relaxing and clean that we may make a trip back just to relax sometime. We really appreciated the hospitality
We arrived late and all the lights were out. We had no idea where to go once at the campground. I walked around the corner of the office and here was a guy sitting on the golf cart talking on the phone. He wouldn't give me the time of day. I asked how I check in and he pointed to a spot on the dark wall that said night buzzer and he turned and started talking on the phone. He turned out to be the night maintain guy. The lady wasn't much nicer. Then we pull around the corner and the entire campground is a gravel parking lot and it is entirely fenced in like you are in a prison. The bathrooms were very clean and nice but If you want to relax this is not the place to stay.
