While we had a rough start with our reservations with this park, they eventually made it right. We stayed three nights. It is a nice park and especially pet friendly. The restrooms are very nice. The laundry had some machines out of order. Washers are $2. On Friday evening they had a family band on the patio, free of charge. They are close to the rail system that supports Santa Fe and Albuquerque am and pm commuters.
The only reason this park did not get a perfect score was the absence of water hook ups and showers. The sites are large; they have wonderful pavilions that shade large picnic tables on slabs with solar lighting and storage. A grill is also provided. The park is conveniently located between two National Parks, Canyonlands and Arches. The park has wonderful attributes of it's own and should not be missed.
Poor customer service. Too many RV and group tent camp sites for the number of showers. 9:30 at night and there were lines to the showers. Restrooms too few and too far from many sites. Although the 50 amp sites also have lower amp available, they will NOT adjust the rate to match the requirement of the RV. The location is perfect for accessing Bryce and as such they are the only game in town...no need to care about service when you have no competition. Very sad.
