Stayed here over the weekend while visiting daughter who lives in the area. We got the impression that this was mostly a "stopover" type of park. The kind where someone traveling through the state would just stopover for a night or two. It seemed to be a nice park. It is located just off the Interstate I-10. However, after we checked in, we never saw anyone that worked there again. The clubhouse was all locked and even though their web site states they have a pool, we never saw it. The biggest drawback was the lack of shade and there is an animal right next door, so there were dogs barking constantly, which makes it very hard to sleep if you do not use your a/c or a fan to block the noise.

We stayed here on our way to Key West and it was beautiful! The weather was rainy and since there are no concrete slabs we were concerned about getting stuck. We were told not to worry, there were only 2 soft spots in the park and they were both empty. The park is on the grounds of an old sugar plantation and all the huge oak trees make for lots of shade. Also, the lots are very spacious. The only concern we had was the rather sharp turn into the park since we were pretty new to pulling this large of a 5th wheel (34'). Made it fine with no problems! When we pulled out even though wet, the ground was solid and hard. Four and a half hours down the road, we realized we had left our camper keys on the picnic table! My husband called the office and the lady said she would go check and call him back. She called back in less than 15 minutes and since we had another set of keys with us and we were not coming back that way, she put them in the mail and they were waiting on us when we got home 3 weeks later! Now that's what I call service!
