Stopped here for the night on the way to Dubois. We needed to get some new tires for our trailer. Restway was the only available site around at the time. Hate to say it, but this place is a hole. Everything is run down and broken. Not much grass to speak of (just mud) and our trailer stood only a few feet from our neighbors. Kind of looks like a RV junkyard. I can say that the two older ladies in the office were gems though.
This is a very nice, clean, quiet campground. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because I thought it is a bit pricey. Not quite as scenic as I thought it would be, but the grounds were well maintained and the staff was extremely friendly. We stayed for a full week. They can use more activities to get the guests out and about.
I chose this park because of the previous rating posted here. This park was less than desirable. Beautiful near the office/store but the grounds were not very scenic; creek gravel on the site (took quite awhile to level the trailer due to it sinking into the ground), in need of mowing, and lots of scrub trees that could have been cut back to view the river. With that said, the worst of it was that we were next to a group of rowdy, drunks that liked urinating on the tree outside my window (saw 3 different men, on 3 different occasions). They made sure we were informed "that we won't be able to sleep". Forget about a campsite host; after 6pm the office was closed, and everyone was gone for the night. Overall, it was very pricey for what you get for your money, which was a lot of mud.
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Very friendly, attentive camp hosts made sure the park was maintained, quiet, orderly. They even informed everyone of a thunderstorm coming and what to do if the weather got severe. Many dogs and kids there, but the dogs were quiet and their waste picked up. It was a very pleasant stay. Campgrounds book up quickly, so make reservations early.
