Beautiful campground. Great hosts. Sites are close together at the campground but only one 50 amp outlet per two sites, other site has to use 30 amp on shared electric box. No to limited TV reception. Has roller rink, miniature golf, snack bar on weekends. Hotel and camping cabins available for rent as well as two halls. Out of the way location, but very, very quiet. A great place to go for the way camping used to be.
Extremely nice park with great hosts. Lots of green space. Sites nearly level even though they are gravel. Close to highway, but it is quiet. GPS wrong, use billboard sign to locate campground. Would rate a 10 if they had cable. Some full timers, but kept separate from overnighters or weekly units. Hosts show you to your site. Definitely stay here again.
An out of the way location. Clean and nice, but not much has changed since I reviewed this in 2011 and the last reviewer's comments. Limited antenna TV reception. NO cable TV. Wi-Fi at office only and it is iffy. Clean showers and restrooms at office. Staff friendly. I had several sites reserved, but one was already taken so they relocated me away from our group. Our reservations were made in person in April. Of the 60 sites almost 1/2 are permanent to semi-permanent. Most of shaded sites are taken by those permanent units. Fishing lake on premises.
Nice interior roads and pads. Price varies according to pad size. Discount with player's card from casino. Free shuttle to casino; shuttle phone in shower-restroom-laundry buildings. (Buildings also a storm shelter in event of bad weather.) Staff friendly and helpful. If sites had shade would give it a 10, but summers in Kansas are hot. Security drives through park even when not on shuttle runs.
Paved interior roads, some potholes need fixing. Pads mostly level. Price increased June 1 2014, as late as June 3, web site still said $20. Wi-Fi iffy, cable good. NO DISCOUNTS. Cash or check only. Will take check, but must take check into another part of casino to get okayed, where credit cards are accepted. Was there 4 days never saw security drive through. Did have shuttle, but had to walk to th park entrance to call shuttle. Not sure if a time limit, but several units had tall grass around them where it hadn't been mowed.
Other than price campground excellent. Base price $75 for two and then $7.50 for extra persons regardless of age is pricy. Nice sites, shade between most sites. Breakfast, Coffee, Dinner and Ice cream available at the park if desired. Clean and if there is an issue, it is addressed almost instantly as lightning caused an issue inside my unit.
Typical KOA parking lot campground. No shade, sites are too close together. Campground matches area, barren. My sewer hookup was clogged and had to dump at common dump site. Told management and not offered price adjustment.
Very nice park, shady spots, most sites level, park very clean would have given park a 10, but where I was camped had very spotty internet service. Had to go to office area for good connection. Staff very friendly. Nice location and easy to get too. Interior roads need some maintenance. Would camp here again.
Park was full of oil workers. Sites were side by side. Called for reservations and got last site. Gravel interior road excellent. Grass between units needed mowing. Couldn't access internet even though were connected to their wifi. No manager on site and couldn't contact manager through the phone number. No prices posted so paid a nominal fee based on last years trailer life prices. Honor system for registering. Good place for an overnight stop.
Nice park, good signage to get to park. Nice city, new managers/owners since Sept 2011. Very nice and easy to access. Agree with previous reviewers. Managers went out of their way to please We had 5 in our party and were very pleased with the accodomations. Real nice city. Restaurants recommended by managers were very good. We would stay here again if in the area.
An extremely nice, pretty RV park. Everything clean and up to date. Staff friendly and helpful. During summer offers breakfast and dinner at the office. Has coffee shop for mornings, campground store, propane available. Mini golf, swimming pool, game room and playground. Shade at most every site. I only gave them a eight because of being extremely pricey. $58 for 2 people and $5 per day for each additional person, including children ages 6 to 15. Quite a cost for a family, especially when only using a little electricity, water, sewer. Because of cost unsure whether I would stay here again. Otherwise a great place.
A good park for overnighting. Close to fuel, food and shopping(less than a mile away). Interior road and sites gravel and close to one another. Some shade, but used for long term campers. Pool very small. Behind RV park is railroad tracks.
Nice RV park. Site are wide and pads are paved. Prices vary on length of your unit. Cable TV and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi reception was spotty with having to move around campground to get strong signal. Restrooms were exceptionally clean. Unisex showers. Staff very friendly. Security drove through about every hour. Could call security and they would pick you up and take you to Casino/hotel/restaurants and bring you back.
The campground was very clean. The owners are extremely friendly. Escorted to our site. The sites mostly level with lots of pull throughs. Nebraska City a real nice small city. This campground is close to downtown and a small outlet mall. The only drawback is highway noise throughout the night.
Very nice campground, very friendly and helpful owners. Wi-Fi is only available at office, rest- rooms/showers only available at office. Only trash dumpster located out of the way on dead end road. Restrooms/showers very clean. Camped during severe weather outbreak and owners notified us about it and told us where storm shelter was. Owners were out prior to 7am cleaning up storm debris. Otherwise, a real nice park, clean, quiet and peaceful.
Stayed here 2nd year in a row. Extremely nice campground. The management goes out of their way to aid and assist customers. Due to miscommunication, we arrived a day early for our reservation and they made room for our unit.
Good overnight spot. Has great restrooms, showers, the best I have ever seen in a campground. Road noise, as it is close to I-90. Interior roads need work, grass/weeds between sites need to be cut. Has small sites between pull through. Would stay here again. They charge extra for over 2 people.
Great park, great scenery and great people running the park. I had to pay more (extra) for a 5th person, but it was only $4 a day. Traveling with grandkids and they enjoyed the park and swimming. Offered free bicycles for riding around the park. I plan on staying here again as often as time permits.
Nice park, sites were narrow and close together, highway noise in some sites. Staff very friendly and helpful. Showers and restrooms very clean Rate used was Passport America's rate. Definitely camp here again.
As previous reviewers have stated a nice, quiet, clean campground. Rates vary by the size of the site, larger sites cost more, etc. Food at buffet was good and when we arrived the attendant gave us a two for one coupon with the player's card. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would camp here again.
Typical Nebraska Recreation campground/park. The staff very friendly, grounds maintained well. The shower/restrooms were old and in need of remodeling. I have camped here for 26 years and the shower/restrooms were new then, but nothing has been done to remodel/upgrade. Past few years added more RV pads, non-electric. Only a few sites with water hook-ups.
Camped here for several days. The roads and the RV pads are in dire need of upgrading. Pads cracked and uneven, roads rough and full of potholes. Plenty of room at sites for slideouts. Only restrooms were at casino. The casino has a shuttle from the RV park to the casino/office. No highway noise even though is right next to I-35. I-35 has road construction south of campground exit.
